‘Russian-only’ businesses in Thailand’s Phuket spark backlash

Reply in thread

My opinions on Russians are based off the ones that immigrated to the US in the late 90's. After doing business with a few, I will never sell or buy anything from a Russian. They lie, steal, deceive, threaten, and overall rip you off any way they can.

Granted there are plenty of Americans I feel that same way about. Just have never met a Russian with any sense of ethics. Doesn't matter male or female everyone has been a disgusting human with how they treat others.

YSK that if your turn signal is blinking unusually fast (like 3 or more times a second), it generally means you have a bulb out.

You are going out of your way to mess around with someone at speed in a public motorway. Is it your responsibility to teach every driver? No. Your actions are adding higher risk as you are changing lanes, speeding up, slowing down around a vehicle that is staying in their lane. The justification you are using is you are better than them, while you're are creating more risk than they are. So you might be annoyed at someone in the middle of 3 lanes of travel, an adult would not increase risk for the sole benefit of their ego.

You're the asshole

In Oregon this is all too common. As an avid hiker/camper I come across this every weekend. Since covid it has gotten significantly worse here. I have now been shot at 12 times in the NF and BLM land. Idiots here will shoot across and down forest service roads. They bring cars and appliances to shoot, and don't clean up the mess.

Grew up shooting in the woods here, this is a fairly new behavior in the last decade. There always were some troublemakers, now people are shooting wherever they feel like with no thought of safety. In the last few years is the first time I have ever seen people hunting from their trucks. Have run into over 20 trucks illegally hunting from the roads in the last 2 years.

Guns require safety and respect, this new generation doesn't seem to have much of either.

Designated areas should be available and monitored for people to target practice.

I was running a 20hp takisawa drilling a 3in hole 18in deep in SS. The tool clogged with chips jamming the spindle. The machine jumped up and slammed down next to me. Scared the crap out of me. Same machine watched a dude put some long material in, seconds later a 3ft peice of solid aluminum bar is through the roof. Fun yet very dangerous machines
