Every time

Texas wants their cake and to eat it too

same as it always was, the Alamo is a perfect example of this

renegade americans who want to establish their own country cant even defend the fucking place and it takes the US Army to come and rescue them... Never forget that the Alamo represents slavery the same way the Confederate flag does

different rule

i knew a boy in elementary school and middle grade. We went to a small private school, so we knew each other and our families knew each other. Fast forward 30 years and I'm working at this job, helping this lady with the printer. She asked me if I went to that school. I was shocked, it's not something just anyone would know of. I couldn't tell if I knew her from then She asked if I remembered Greg. Oh yeah!

ohh yeah... she was clearly a woman now but the moment I realized who they were, I couldn't help but see that look I remembered from so long ago

The quality of life

I worked for the hospital system... I only remember dreading tomorrow and wishing for a moment to catch my breath. I didn't really get to work from home and I rarely got time off outside of my schedule.

It sucked! I didn't even get to enjoy other people's enjoyment 👎

When you get a chance, you take it.

The first time I saw Greenday in 1994, they had the audience decide between two guys to play one song. When I saw them again after they became the major band of the era, they did the same thing but a little different. Still one of the fans got to get on stage, play BJ's guitar and for sure a wonderful moment.

All that said, considering the way punks think, this is probably just the most recent shenanigans. I am willing to bet that someone started to play Freebird long before someone attempted to sneak in Wonderwall

Would actually be funny if someone were to try and play some of the George Harrison Wonderwall

Jimmy Carter: Grandson says former president is ‘coming to the end’

I remember when Carter was president. I always respected him. In the early 2000s i remember getting so much shit for defending him. I'm proud to be an American when I think of him and his legacy. He is a good man and I hope that he will be remembered in a positive way. He was truly wronged by the Republicans and the Iran Contra shit will forever be a shadow over the good that Carter tried to create in the middle East.

I imagine if the dirty tricks Reagan pulled or like if Gore wasn't cheated or even Hillary got 4 years, the world would be a much better place than it is.
