Best app for Lemmy?

I don’t see a reason to use Lemmy app on desktop though. Feels more natural to access Lemmy and Reddit through browser if I am on desktop.

FUTO Keyboard - Offline, privacy respecting, and speech to text
Any idea what languages this keyboard support? I can't use any open source keyboard yet as all doesn't have good multi lingual support and typing.

I found Voyager to be quite similar to Apollo. It's available for both iOS and Android. Plus it's open source.

Favorite search engines or browsers?
Ecosia as search engine because I want to support their tree planting.
I don't have favorite browser. I use Firefox for balance of convenience and privacy. It gets the job done.

Maybe that's the point and they have decided their high end phones need to be more visibly distinct from the rest of the lineup?
That's exactly how I feel. There's a reason why the front camera is still the ugly notch. Maybe they don't profit much from low end phones and want to push more people to the midrange ones.

Why can't we go back to small phones?

I would, if long term durability is not a concern and the price is not too damn expensive.
Basically if money is no issue.

How many and how much are your subscriptions?
Just domain for $11 a year.
The home server is running on old laptop so I guess slight electricity too. ISP doesn't really count since I work from home and need to pay for that anyway.
I have lifetime Windscribe VPN and Koofr 1TB, which are not subscriptions.

Purism Announce New 11-Inch Linux Tablet
Reply in thread
From this blog review on June 2023, it seems that camera, WiFi and bluetooth are still not working properly.
PineTab2 seems more like a developer tinkering/testing device rather than a Linux tablet alternative for Android/iPad.

The company thinks they pay programmers to write code
In my company, the C level is pushing hard for AI adoption so everyone is expected to use AI to write code.
When something goes wrong in production do you just ask AI to identify the problem?
Basically, yes. I am no longer programmer but more like software architect or manager. Architecting the design and reviewing AI plan and code.
