agh idk dog... the comment sections of lemmy.world are a bit of a cesspool. I'll miss the pro-trans good vibes

comics are an incredible storyboarding-esque medium that you can use to draw and talk about anything. it doesn't even need to be limited to a 4-panel gag. I love comics

cute! I love informative comics like this.

people always jump to assuming creating an infrastructure that requires less reliance on cars means a flat out ban on cars when really we just desperately need more alternatives to being stuck on the car-only model. of course, rural areas and disabilities and such will mean that cars are sometimes necessary, but there's so much that a fully functional public transit system can do!!

I get that people aren't a fan of their type of leftist politics but I don't think they really do that much harm. I at least haven't seen any brigading or vitriol from them and I think they're valuable as a trans-positive space.

wow, typical. and they don't get shit for wearing masks and black bloc too???

it's a sock-packer. you put it in your underpants.

but actual artwork does exist? so when you want art references for style references, why should you be forced to see a bunch of AI?

having guy friends who act normal are great when it happens! I have a couple at least.

going to the state library to smash out some assignments I've been woefully avoidant of all week...... hurray

pluto ! I loved the manga and randomly found out that it got an anime adaptation last year. beautiful intense sci fi about sentient robots

alt text: anime girl being fed gasoline through the pump machine. text: "drink up baby stay up all night"

that's true. it's better that we've made our own post for instance-only discussion. Idk I don't blame the reaction since it puts them in a tough spot where they feel inclined to defend themselves. but aside from a post literally being about them I haven't seen them interact aggressively much on our instance.

he's spider jerusalem from the comic transmetropolitan! an edgy journalist guy.

so cute 💜 I like no. 1

this is amazing lmao

this kind of thing is funny every time it comes up. there's nothing wrong with having fitness goals to get shredded, but don't do it just to get women lol. do it for you!!!

I'm so sorry :-( that sounds so miserable and scary. all I can say is, hang in there. I can't imagine how you're dealing with this. hope you get your support network back as soon as possible.

jackson is a great resource haha, thanks! I suppose it's somewhere between boredom, attention and generally being quite vocal.

I love this, reminds me of me and my so :-)
