Trump Threatens to Defund States That Don’t Make His Election Changes
Those probably blue, and therefore likely contributor, states should just keep the money they send the federal government instead of receiving a small portion of it back.
From 2018 to 2022, individuals and organizations from blue states contributed nearly 60% of all federal tax receipts but only received 53% of all federal contributions to states in the form of either direct payments, grants, contracts, or wages. Meanwhile, red states were only responsible for 40% of federal tax receipts but received 47% of all federal contributions to states. A 7% differential that in effect equates to a more than $1 trillion transfer payment from blue states to red states, amounting to $4,300 per capita, compared to the instance where their respective fair shares were paid.

Also found an article stating that underwater data centers would be the best way to reduce noise. Ignoring that sound travels better underwater and combined with heating the water around them, it would massively disrupt untold amounts of marine life, sure!

We really need the government to come in and shut these down given all the harm they cause to their local environment
But the government is helping pave the way for it.

Just use corrugated cardboard and with longer sine waves, duh!
I am not an audio engineer but you might have a point in that the longer low sound waves would be harder to block.
Where my audiophiles at? We need a sound check on low frequency blocking.
Edit:
Found an article on a crypto mining facility mitigating noise issues.

Rewind it further and Johhny doesn't get assassinated, exposes the remainders of the Business Plot and dismantles the military industrial complex before it gets further entrenched. Those two moves would have cut off a lot of the forces which led to where we are now.

TIL Ayn Rand's funeral included a 6-foot floral arrangement in the shape of a dollar sign

She also hated government handouts...unless she needed them.
An interview with Evva Pryror, a social worker and consultant to Miss Rand's law firm of Ernst, Cane, Gitlin and Winick verified that on Miss Rand's behalf she secured Rand's Social Security and Medicare payments which Ayn received under the name of Ann O'Connor (husband Frank O'Connor). As Pryor said, "Doctors cost a lot more money than books earn and she could be totally wiped out" without the aid of these two government programs. Ayn took the bail out even though Ayn "despised government interference and felt that people should and could live independently… She didn't feel that an individual should take help."
