If I remember right, about a year ago they were banning a lot of Linux players. It might be happening again.

I used to purchase everything I could from GOG until I switched to Linux full time. I still like the company and buy some from them, but until they become more Linux friendly or Steam gets worse I'll still prioritize Steam now. And it's not only the (very odd) resistance to making a Linux version of Galaxy, I've also seen them not offer Linux versions of games even when the developers have released it on other platforms.

Check out Ventoy! Unless you need a single ISO on the drive, it's just something you install to it and then copy and paste ISOs to the folder on it. No flashing needed, it runs them for you. I've got 128GB drives almost filled with every ISO I could possibly want.

I primarily prefer it because it does pretty much all the Minecraft stuff I want it to do, and it's got other games available as well. Plus, completely Linux compatible and no Microsoft account!

It's sad seeing some of the actors starting to pass. He was a highlight for me too. I had mentioned on a comment a while back that his song playing right after Nog lost his leg was one of my favorite uses of music in Star Trek. The follow-up episode is also one I've watched many times. A lot of good memories.

They should really hire KSP players to do these missions. We might put a ladder over the hatch or forget landing legs, but at least we know how to fix this issue!

Blue Origin needs to get a viable alternative flying before they start trying to take down the competition!

We've seen basically nothing of it other than a short trailer, so it's way too early for anyone to be deciding whether it'll be good or not! I'm planning to give it a try, just like I have with every other Trek show so far. If I like it, I'll continue watching. If I don't, I won't!

Pop doesn't use stock Gnome, there's a lot of modifications to it. They're also working on their own DE for future releases, called Cosmic.

Linux is designed to give you freedom to change things to your liking, and Canonical and many other distro teams obviously feel they can improve Gnome.

That's too bad that they cropped it, the framing is going to be super tight in a lot of scenes. It's nice that it's available for free though, hopefully it brings in some new fans.

I tend to do the Spock eyebrow raise quite a bit without thinking about it, to the point that people I know will ask if it's on purpose.

I also will use "fascinating" and I tend to insert logical or illogical into sentences.

Worf's "It is not funny, but I get it" is something I throw in as well.

If I'm in "Star Trek Mode" I'll use various Klingon phrases, along with the Vulcan salute as greeting. My wife and I will at times text in Klingon. There's other stuff as well, but not as common!

Is the wider section actually hollow? I was imagining they might just have a normal round shape inside due to it being more difficult to mold.

It is definitely Linux underneath. Technically it says different devices, so that might be why they're splitting it down. In reality it's probably a good way to get more advertising for the Deck as people share their stats for the year.
