I hated Google far before it was cool. I would feel vindicated if it weren't so damn overdue. They don't even contribute meaningfully to society. And I mean that about EVERYTHING

Gmail is lame, their search engine sucks, chrome wastes resources, their ads platform ruined the internet, Golang fundamentally sucks, the emulation layer of android is so fucking wasteful, Material Design ruined digital creativity, etc.

Landlords are parasites

I can't help but think from a scientific perspective that when a population is forced to fight for resources, aggression in that population also increases.

In the most basic terms, how would you expect a colony of mice to react in a scenario like this? A dwindling supply of food, along with a shrinking supply of shelter... I'd expect to see a steady increase in violence over time.

I can't see this ending well, and I certainly have felt a steady degradation of hospitality and compassion in the last decade or so.

Is there even a way to combat this? I feel like the cultural zeitgeist has been so polluted with individualism it's almost impossible to get the general public to agree to policies that don't directly benefit themselves.

Because 4 year olds with cancer are being sent to concentration camps in the US. If you can politely talk to your family members and reason with them, this is always ideal. I get that it's easy to be sucked down the alt-right pipeline. But if they're literal nazis, far beyond reasoning with, I'm sorry. And if that hurts your feelings, you're a nazi sympathizer.

From my experience, it's a place for lighthearted fun.

I hated using Instagram and Facebook because of the toxic right-wingers always starting shit.

So imagine my surprise when these right-wing instigators actually get banned when I report them on RedNote.

Get wrecked idiots, finally a social app with an actual code of conduct.
