Does installing python3-libevdev help?

If you are into 3D printing you could create filament out of it ... https://hackaday.com/2020/12/16/3d-printing-with-vhs-tape-filament/

1. I think I've read a comment explaining that there is a setting for lemmy instance admins which en-/disables stripping metadata when images are uploaded
2. Yes, but it strongly depends on your OS. For windows see https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-life-hacks/privacy-and-safety/how-to-remove-metadata-from-photos.
3. Essentially no, but it might depend on your setup (i.e. exotic Browser Plugins, School PC with power tripping admin or whatnot)
4. Depends on your setup, but I'd say no. You can look at the meta data (also called exif data) with the method explained in 2
5. Since there are insane dedicated people who deduce locations from the tiniest spek of information (i.e. shadows and a clock), the safe bet would be not to post any photos 😅 But I'd say, remove the meta/exif data and you are probably fine

More like four to juan, but maybe I'm missing something - someone educate me pls

That's a few minutes of my life I never get back

I plan to put at least the STLs it on Printables. But I'm a bit hesitant to share the f3d files. Maybe I'm going to add different sized STLs for different phones - like the Pixel 8 pro :)

I followed https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3PbGFMFh4pU but there are some flaws I had to consider (i.e. they create the collision mesh during runtime, which has an performance impact), but it was a good starting point

What @chingadera said :)

I could read your blog post and write my own blog post, using yours as inspiration. I could quote your post, add a link back to your blog post and even add affiliate links to my blog post.I could be hired to do something like that for the whole day

Description below?

Using Fusion360 in a Virtualbox, works okish for the few things I'm doing. There are several projects on GitHub for running it with Wine, but wasn't able to get them working on my machine. Maybe not industry Standard, but I'm also using OpenSCAD from time to time for smaller things (especially when I want to publish them).
