Thought this was interesting. Some of the unspent money was set aside ten years ago according to the article.

This is from a city budget that’s already in deficit and cutting services. What a boondoggle.

It costs $1 million to change the signage to that person’s name. Then another million to change it back when you later decide that person is problematic.

Got a notice in the mail that Texas gas has applied to raise rates yet again. This is in addition to the over $20 in monthly fees they charge you even if you don’t use their product.

I’m on Mlem 2.2 and iOS 18.6.2. If I set haptics to “none” it works until I restart the app or the phone, then it sets itself back to high.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I’ll start with “Outland”. It’s about a crotchety Sheriff/Marshall investigating crimes on a mining colony on one of Jupiter’s moons, and the sidekick doctor that helps him solve them. The original film had a very “Alien” universe feel.
Pitch meeting: True Detctive meets Alien. Each season = one mystery.

I looked into spraying nematodes to kill them, but I’m worried about it harming other bugs like butterflies, bees, and fireflies. Anyone have any experience with this? I don’t want to do more harm than good.
