Father of 18-year-old fatally shot by Ohio police charged with hitting and killing deputy with car

Yes, for the father to use lethal force on the corrupt racist deputy is a totally valid reason.

New undersea cable tech listens for sabotage — can be retrofitted to existing fiber optic lines
Really cool tech and simple tech, tldr, it uses acustics to detect even light touches in the cable; basically it turns cables into guitar strings.
As for sabotage, I don’t know, you could infer what boat caused it maybe? Like the Russian sabotage at the beginning of the war with Ukraine? Doesn’t seem to be much data other than, hey something is touching the cable.

The Recording Industry attacks the Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine
Back when 4chan was a small cesspool we took down the recording industry, we can do it again with Spotify and all the streaming services.
We beat them once we will do it again.

I don’t think so, but I do criticize not having an option, that is why I stopped using Cisco personally and professionally, some things are fast using the cli, some things just need an Ui, you need both.

How was your day?
After 6 years with the same company and multiple firings and delayed payments, my salary got axed in half, but the owner got a new Cadillac, so yeah I started to reach out to every hubspot agency out there and thank god I got 2 interviews with double the salary.
I’m scared, happy and sad, I am sure there is a German word for it.
Thank you for this post op this is what the internet was like so many years ago.

Switching from iOS to GrapheneOS, thoughts after 2 weeks
Reply in thread
I switched to iOS recently, and yes android can do everything better, the issue is iOS just works and as you get older that day or week of tweaking your phone is just not worth it, at least not for me since I barely use my phone for anything other than pooping distraction.

I went and liked every single Luigi post I could find and my account is fine, then went onto and called out a racist remark and got banned, but the racist op did not even get a warning and the post is still up full of slurs.
I think they just have a shitty AI doing the bans

Reminder: Apple gets up to 30% of subscriptions set up in *any* iPhone app! It's a huge tax on the European economy. 💡 Tip: Cancel and resubscribe on the app's website.
No, I just can’t do this one, I used to do that but Apple is great at giving my money back, there was a mental health app located in Europe that stole not 200$ but 400$ from me during a period I could not afford it.
They made two mistakes after I had already deleted the app and unsubscribes from the trial.
Apple is great at giving me my money back and I trust them , it takes 15 minutes most of the time.

Would you use a self-hosted, AI-powered search engine for your favorite sites?
Reply in thread
But is a search engine we actually figured those out a few years ago, what advantage is AI going to bring? Do we also need ai wheels now?
This is the smart thing all over again, I don’t need a smart toilet or a smart toothbrush.
