It took 50,000 gallons of water to put out Tesla Semi fire in California, US agency says

I went through "Bedrijfshulpverlening" (Dutch, if you want to run it through translate just in case I mess up the correct translation). I guess it's business first responder or something.

When we were attending the fire training part and we were teached about fires, someone asked "what if there is a car fire". They said: "starting petrol car fires can be extinguished with a portable extinguisher if you are lucky. But electric car fires, leave them alone. They seal the cars in special water-filled containers and leave them alone for two weeks. There are reports that even after the two weeks, when the car was retrieved from the water, the fire started again on it's own. Firefighters really hate electric vehicles".

Do you feel safe enough to disclose your ADHD when you go to job interviews?

Yes, I did! I mentioned it when they asked about my downsides. Gave them all the downsides + the upsides of it. Like, I lose focus more than other people, but I am extremely calm in an emergency. I might have trouble planning but I think "outside the box". In my field of interest, what happens to be my work, I learn quicker than most. I might oversleep, but when something needs fixing, consider it fixed. Even if I have to work all night. Also explained how I try to manage the symptoms.

ADHD is often seen as only negative but if you also take the positives, you become more valuable to outside perspective. Just stick to the real positives though, don't try to make any up that aren't there. They will notice.

I was the least experienced candidate from what I heard, but I was hired and looking at fixed employment in a few months!

I won't hide it. If they feel I'm not right for an employer the way I am, they are not the right employer for me.
