Learn How to Run Exploration in Roleplaying Games from Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Great analysis, I'm a big fan of how you explained and compared it with a great game.
As a solo player, I find it a bit more difficult to apply it, maybe I need to use a better tool too generate more interesting encounters.

I recently played a small campaing with Cairn and I enjoyed what these systems with a few abilities achieve. Barrow Delver is a nice set of solo rules for it.
Mausritter is a great intro to the "OSR spirit": due to the player being a mouse, you won't be a hero for long if you run straight to every dangerous situation. Einzelmaus exists to play it solo.

Simple/basic system to play with my little sister
Mausritter is a mix of some easy systems, very "kid friendly", it actually won some awards because of it. The Tiny D6 systems are also good and easy to learn: two dice, if you have an attribute that helps, use three.

Do you listen to any new bands? Or just same as 10 years ago?

Adulting is hard, less time to explore new music. What do you like?

Any other metal heads make it here yet?

Would you believe me if I told you I read your message while listening to that terrific album?
Also, great name for a cover band 😂

But I thought the first sign of getting old was making those noises when sitting down, etc.
I have never used rateyourmusic to check new stuff, but it was mentioned before in the thread. Is it good?

I'm doing something similar following this project https://1001albumsgenerator.com you don't need to register with an email, although it helps. A new album is suggested everyday, and even if they are not they kind of music you usually like, I am sure you will be able to appreciate why it was included in the list.

What’s everyone playing this weekend?
Besides some Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, I'm mainly playing Ironsworn: Starforged. I recently got the book and I am appreciating what Shawn Tomkin did here.
I may play a bit of Spirit Island later if I have enough time to spend focusing on it.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's gameplay was revealed 10 years ago yesterday
I got the game when it was released for Nintendo Switch some years ago. Being able to play it anywhere, anytime, that's amazing.
However I haven't played yet the DLC Hearts of stone. I don't want to finish this wonderful game.

What music genre or artist changed your life?
I can't pick just one band, however, I clearly remember the first time I listened to
I'm sure there are more if I think for longer.

What are the best ship-to-ship combat rules in a sci-fi game?

I agree. Once you get how it works, the rythm is interesting. I have seen some people complaining about the big book with lots of rules (moves), but actually is just the same one again and again: 2D10 vs 1D6+modifiers

Yeah! So many music available that it's impossible to get bored. I am not the biggest Beatles fan, but I really cringe when somebody says they are not that good, they are still copied!

Yeah both options are the best, I am not even able to pick one or the other. Actually, why would you do that? So many great music that's it's impossible to pick just one.
I was opening the question due to some people saying music "it's not the same anymore", when they actually mean "I still listen to the same music I used to". Nothing wrong with that either, but my point is there is still good music to be discovered.

KEXP and BBC Radio 6 are great for pop/indie music. Have you tried them?

I linked it somewhere else in the thread. I'm finding there a lot of "new" stuff really interesting, even some of my favourites album are included here!
