And you’re counting protein from all sources, not just meat or meat equivalents? Eating some yogurt, lentils, beans, etc all of that protein content can add up pretty quickly but you might not be counting it.

As a final note, they recommend that for healthy but that doesn’t mean you can’t be healthy without it. But you could consider adding a little bit of high protein sources (chicken, tofu, etc) to your diet to hit closer to that goal and see if it makes a difference for you.

Glasnow has only pitched over 100 innings twice in his career, with his highest at 120. He’s got great stuff, but he’s not crazy dominant enough that it makes up for that in my opinion. His career ERA+ is 107. Granted his time on the pirates is bringing that down quite a bit so it’s likely that’s not really representative, but still.

And it isn’t like Pepiot is an early minor leaguer with a big chance to flame out. They’ve pitched 80 innings in the bigs and have done very well so far.

Haven’t been getting on the bike much recently since I picked up running again, but I live near an awesome trail that goes to the beach. It’s got a gnarly ascent at the beginning and then goes down all the way to the ocean.

I’ve never made it all the way down to the ocean because I’ve dreaded the climb back to the peak but someday I’ll tackle that fully.
