The technology for adaptive headlights absolutely has existed...... in super high-end cars because that's a complex optical control and microelectronics system. it requires advanced engineering, complex optical assemblies, and complicated control systems. Your Honda will never have that because most of us simply don't want to pay. Cars are complicated enough. Do want more things that can break? Do you want your replacement headlights to cost $5,000? LED technology is so far superior to any other light source for headlights. That there are idiots all over the place with poorly maintained cars is not the LEDs fault.

Fyi, there's a lot of woo woo (edit: apparently racist term) crap out there that tries to make you believe that somehow the photons can feel that a human is watching them and they choose to behave differently as a result. This is not true. It just means that when you use a detector or some sort of probe that physically interacts with the photons they change their behavior. It's not magic.

We were at a very authentic Chinese restaurant and and a family showed up and asked waiter for recommendations they said the roast duck is very good which is very true. The roast duck shows up to their table and the guy takes a bite and bites straight into bone and he starts loudly complaining how there's bones in it and why isn't there meat and that chicken has a lot more meat and why doesn't the duck have more meat and that this is a rip off and then it's all bones and he's mad that they sold him this. The restaurant ended up taking back the dish and giving them a refund simply because of the customers ignorance it was so cringe.
