I've seen a few comments about Bluetooth headphones and TWS earbuds but I don't think it's really too much of an issue. For over ear style headphones Steel Series have already proved the concept as they have a headset that has hot swappable rechargeable batteries. No reason other manufacturers can't design a fitted one that could be replaced.

As for TWS buds, so many of these must already be in landfill when the tiny batteries give out. We've already got rechargeable batteries for hearing aids that can be replaced by the user. I'm sure something similar could be achieved for TWS buds.

I use bxactions (not FOSS) to use it as a play/pause button. Can easily pause and skip tracks keeping the phone in my pocket.

I have too many pairs of headphones and have been buying more wired ones rather than Bluetooth as they just don't last as long (they are convenient, I'll admit).

The 3.5mm Jack is just so handy to have ratger than a dongle (SD card for storing all the music helps too).

Picked one with a funny name and the admin seemed quite relaxed but it appears to have gone offline permanently.

I’ve heard that too, product launches = promotion so they keep churning them out.

I got curious and installed it there, Hangouts chats from 2015 - 2018 all appeared. This isn’t as brand new as they’d make you believe.

I've not tried it but if you've got some electrical contact cleaner you could spray some in, move it around a bit and see if it resets back to centre. Let it dry out for a bit before powering it on.

As far as I know a lot of controllers (joycons, DS5, etc.) Have the same issue as they all use the same internal part.

You could possibly order one and have a go at replacing it. Seems a lot for something defective pretty much right out the box though.

Buena Vista Social Club. It came up on the 1001AlbumsGenerator. It's probably the album I've revisited the most.

Nice. It's a bit different from my usual listening. Plus my Spanish is very very basic.

Another that came up on the generator with a sort of similar vibe was Getz/Gilberto, more light jazz but you might like it (if you don't already know it).

About £60 max but I'm also considering just skipping cheap headphones to be abused and trying the K361s.

I did also look at the Koss 42iK but thought the headband looked a bit flimsy.

I always wanted to try the k240s but ended up with the newer version k245 that's since been discontinued. I've got 3 pairs of overear AKGs so it'd be overkill getting the k240s as well.
