I'd say Kdenlive is pretty good. The UI feels a bit clunky and dated, but other than that it's a capable video editing software.

It's called DeArrow, made by the same developer who made SponsorBlock. If I'm not mistaken, the titles are user submitted, and the thumbnails are just a random frame from the video (like how it used to be in the old days of YouTube). But I don't use this extension, I just know it exists, so I don't know exactly how it works.

What's an unpopular UI opinion you have?
Rounded corners everywhere. I mean, subtle rounded corners can look nice here and there, but they are not subtle and there are too much of them. Also, those capsule shaped buttons and text boxes. I hate them, they look so stupid.

When we say "Fuck AI" are we inadvertently helping the "AI" companies by referring to their products as "AI"?
This is why I call chatbots "LLMs" and refer to image and video generators as "slop generators". It isn't AI, a software can't be intelligent.

It's our thankless task to try to educate and convince our less savvy friends.
Sadly, in my experience, it's useless. They usually think you're the weird one. Especially nowadays in the "AI" era. Whenever I talk negatively about it I get weird looks. People love their corpo slop.
