this command saves lives
Real sys admins know this pain (rm suffers no fools) and accept the consequences of recovering from backups as pennance. No backups? Then you aren't really a sys admin then, are you?

Home invasions
That is a shotgun shell loaded with allergy medicine. In the US many people reload their own shotgun shells. If you put rock salt instead of lead shot it is less-than-lethal...sorta. Some put in weirder stuff like nails, etc. Americans are funny like that.

I miss Levis
True denim doesn't stretch so tight was very uncomfortable. Fashion wanted tight jeans so they added spandex to the denim weave. Durability was sacrificed for butt-hugging.

"Touch grass"
The improper usage of double quotes is reprehensible. There isn't even an ending mark for the quotation.

Now Trump Reportedly Wants Nation’s Highest Military Honor... For Himself
I quietly approve of this. In 50 years I want that young generation to look back and realize just how corrupt and insane he was. Denials and excuses will abound. The more insanity he commits the better without costing money, global stability, and lives.

Trump says Musk will face 'very serious consequences' if he funds Democratic candidates -NBC News
Musk is going to fund Republican candidates in the primaries, non-MAGA Republicans. The idea he would fund Dems is laughable. It will be interesting to see which way the Republicans go, money or MAGA.

Know A Few Things About the MN Occupation
I live in the Twin Cities and this is an exaggeration. I drive by the Whipple building multiple times a week. I am in Little Somali several times a week. I've driven past the Alex Pretti shrine. I've seen one SUV that seemed to be ICE. That's it. This whole time.
Many restaurants are closed or drive thru only. Many people are frightened to leave their houses and volunteers bring them food. There are groups of people guarding kids to and from school.
The fear of ICE is what I see daily. That is what they meant to accomplish.

The novel, It, by Stephen King has a scene as described. That book took a hard, weird turn. The whole scene wasn't needed for the story.

It's a feature, not a bug. We have 10,000 lakes because MN is a sponge being squeezed.

Donald Trump cuts all US trade with Spain over Iran war dispute
That is not just politically impossible, oh the lawsuits, but physically impossible. Not for weeks at the very least. His attention span is approximately 18 hours. So TACO.
