UK Ministers tell Keir Starmer he should resign or he will be removed from power

Reply in thread

Andy Burnham, who won a compelling majority in the Makerfield byelection overnight, is expected to travel to London on Monday to meet MPs in the expectation of becoming prime minister within weeks. One cabinet minister – who has not previously told the prime minister to go – said his departure was now inevitable.

Unless Andy does a 180, he's a competent socialist leader.

I think the bigger question is whether or not the system will allow him to deviate from their current course of self destruction.

Trump dismantles Voice of America with executive order - BBC News

I don't understand the naysayers here.

This is hilarious. Trump wants to simultaneously expand the American empire, while he dismantles the tools of it that he's too stupid to understand the importance of.

No matter their mission statement, or any tangible benefits they might have provided, both USAID and VOA, were tools of empire. These aren't mutually exclusive concepts.

The largest study of AI use by undergrads is in, revealing disparities in access — and in cheating

Gen Alpha was entirely raised on smartphones and social media, and we're still not even close to knowing the full extent of the long-term damage that has done.

Starting with Gen Bravo Beta, entire generations will be raised in a world that has normalized cognitive surrender to AI.

Edit: Wikipedia lists Gen B as Generation Beta, which seems kind of unfortunate. I'll just call it Gen B moving forward.
