Yes that's kind of a pet peeve of mine. I understand that sleep deprived parents sometimes need to put their kids in front of their phones. But in recent years I have noticed that they just blast the sound really loud and don't care about any other human being. I'm really shy but after almost freaking out on a train ride because of two different kids just watching something full volume I have asked parents to tone it down. They were even kind of embarrassed and nice about it. I have no idea how you can be so disconnected to your surrounding... The worst were grandparents with a 2 year old kid during a kids theater and they just let the kid watch a show with the volume up. I mean what about all the other kids who are performing and you sit in the middle with a phone just blasting full volume. They wanted to stop him and then he started throwing a tantrum. They just laughed and were like oh he's so cute and we can't do anything about it. Fuck that's not cute, if you want to watch a tv show with volume, just sit outside of theater with your little brat!

Our cat was even mad when one of us left. Whenever my boyfriend was gone he was very clingy and not satisfied with just me. We called him our little cock blocker because we were not allowed to cuddle next to each other, he always wanted to lay in the middle of the couch/bed. He died 6 months ago, still miss him every day.

I guess all the boomer parents are like that. I have a really good relationship with my parents, but they wouldn't help me out when my boyfriend and I bought a flat. Went as far as telling me that I'm trying to rob them, because maybe I can't afford the flat and then the bank will take their houses. I told them the bank just can't do that and they didn't believe me until they went to talk to a lawyer. And best part is, now they always say I'm not thankful because I will inherit their houses and they build them for me? And their parents were really poor small scale farmers, still they saved up to help them with their first home. As you can tell I'm still bitter about that.

Yes and then I get told from other people (even my boyfriend) that's just nice of them. Fuck it I don't want to hear from some old, higher up that I look good. Had to kneel down to do something at work and that guy said: oh so nice to have a woman kneeling in front of me. Yeah and then I'm paranoid and a snowflake. Just some innocent comment on my look for sure.

For me it totally makes sense because my boyfriend always says he looks like a worm without his hair. And now in his fourties he's really scared of loosing his hair. And I always tell him I will love him even when he looks like a worm. Perfect for the situation but might not apply to everyone.

They do! Sometimes I feel like I got adhd because so many symptoms are just normal people stuff. Then I guess it's just about how badly it's impairing you.
