I’ve had old posts pop up a few times, but not often.

I mostly lurked on Reddit, because it felt pretty useless to comment in larger subreddits. So far, it’s a lot more pleasant to comment here and see how communities might grow.

Getting out of the habit of doom scrolling has been the most positive change for me. I pop in a few times a day and check active and then new, then find other things to do. It’s better for my mental health and I’m more productive.

Thanks for the reply! I got my first small set of Vallejo paints a month or two ago and really like them.

10 books. I had hundreds in my TBR list on GoodReads and when I switched to StoryGraph a few months ago I wanted a fresh start.

The big names have been mentioned so I’ll mention others.

Amnesia: Memories - This is actually the visual novel that got me into playing them (and playing with my wife). Weird spirit shenanigans cause the main character to experience amnesia. She has to navigate already being in a relationship without anyone catching on and try really hard not to die.

VA11 Hall-A - A cyberpunk bartending simulator. Make drinks, talk to all the regulars and learn about the world, try to pay your bills. It’s kinda like playing as the bartender side character in a sci-fi while the heroes of the story are involved in the big events going on.

Arcade Spirits - Go from unemployed to finding your happy place in life working in a retro arcade. This one is just nice and casual and filled with nostalgia.

Douki looks so damn cool. I've never seen him before.

At the moment, I think I’m most excited for getting rid of alignments. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chance to play, but it’s nice that I’ll have some changes to look into once I do!

They came out so well! I wouldn’t have thought to use those colors and yet they really bring it all together.

Typically, that’s when I’ll read fanfic. Sometimes I’ll just look for the coziest mystery I can find available at my library or maybe reread Hogfather. Although I think Legends and Lattes will become one I put in my rotation when I need cozy vibes.

That looks great! I’ve never painted a vehicle, but now I’m a little more interested in the idea. What kinds of paints did you use?

I was just wondering about him yesterday. Sadly, I think you might be right. Without the youtube shows, I wonder if we'll see more people like him leaving when their contracts expire. Oh well. Hope the best for him in the future.

It might just be because I'm still sick, but that didn't quite feel like a show coming out of a ppv.
