As just a random guy, I might conflate their kindness for interest because I get so little attention and positive reinforcement. No one is there telling us we are beautiful or talented or smart or whatever with any frequency, even if you have these qualities.

Your full attention already feels like more than a kindness. And the additional, actual, kindness can be taken for interest because of the paucity of people interested in "random guy". 

I don't think women are wholly wrong for getting this type of attitude. It has to be frustrating and draining constantly fending off suitors when you just wanted a normal nice chat or something.

It's because the same psychopathic traits that are virtues to capitalists also make the person the type who wants to do any taboo thing as a flex of their own power.

It's not necessarily that these people are just pedophiles. They're into domination and destruction of innocence. You see this same pattern among all the psychos who end up with power anywhere.

These people both need to sit down and have some empathy for each other.

They could be growing stronger together through their struggles rather than making it some competition about who is worse off. (Which, in this case, the guy has started by not empathizing at all)

My mental health struggles in no way invalidate someone else's struggles.

It's always "liberal indoctrination" to them. Because they can't understand that being more exposed to more ideas tends to make you less conservative. Also, it feels like a tacit admission that their own "education" was really indoctrination. That's probably one reason why they think all education is such.

You can always tell the people with no artistic talent because they don't understand how AI is different than digital art software like PhotoShop. And they seem to think that artists should just accept having their life's work stolen and vomited up as slop.

Fuck anyone who thinks like this. They think they are entitled to my creativity without doing any of the work.

Amazing how the party of small government, who said Obama ruled by fiat like a despot, is immediately acting how they claimed Obama did.
