Could you have seen anything beforehand? You're a kilometer away already

Why is working class called working class?
Some classes don't need to work, they hire others to invest their resources or can just live off their resources

You hold no power here!
To add to the other security conscious comments, even if you wanted to run a VM, there are attacks that escalpe the VM and hit the underlining OS
Computers are inherently insecure

How is it even possible/practical to obey traffic laws?
I follow all traffic laws to a tee, just to be the change I want to see in the world. Pedestrian deaths (negligent manslaughter IMO) by cars are at an all time high in my country. As a bonus, I usually end up right next to the asshole speeding and weaving in and out of traffic at the red light

The UX is nice and modern, better than iMessage and other messaging apps I've used. Scheduling messages, group chats allow people to come and go (mod approved) all seem more modern than other chat apps

Can we prevent cars from sending data to servers if we remove their antennae?

So only thing is they might just store all the data locally and send it when they get reception again. Microsoft Word used to do this with "Aria"

How to use burner Lemmy accounts properly?
If you are a human posting, you're contributing to the community. It shouldn't matter if it's your only or have X accounts that you use/don't use. In general, ddos attacks are more timing related in combination with data quantity not just raw data, since a new user account doesn't take up much space and neither does their posts (this isn't 100% the case, but usually the case. Also haven't read lemmy's source code, just general discussion)

We won’t fix inflation while economists stay in denial about its causes
They're ignoring the simple fact that businesses are putting prices up purely to increase profits.
This is incorrect. Yes, greed exists, but it always exists. Even in classical capitalist economics, inflation comes when supply can't keep up with demand. Fiat currencies floating globally, rampant money printing, global shortages and supply chain issues plus corporate greed starts to show a clearer picture

I'd add you can get around this with a custom DNS server with DNSSEC
