Super easy to foul a touch screen like that and the only way to fix it is re-run the calibration, which could be tricky if you need the touchscreen to enter calibration mode.

That's happened before on touch screen voting machines. It happens by either intentionally or accidentally mis-calibrating the touch screen.

There is no such thing as security if you have physical access to the device. So yes, I am sure they could "hack" it. (Remove storage, alter the votes, re-insert storage).

That doesn't mean elections are compromised. It means one machine is compromised.
