Yeah, pretty out of left field but I'm happy they're doing it since it's such a pain to get the original running on a modern system.

Trump Threatens to Rename Lake Ontario as He Spirals Over Canada Feud

For you as a .de user, probably not much right now outside of you getting to make fun of the incompetence of Americans with a dementia addled man who has a book of Hitlers speeches on his nightstand in charge of a waning super power.
Longer term, there are going to be impacts to you as he destabilizes the global markets, screws with the energy market, this time with Canada, which might be good for you guys, and continues to deteriorate trade and military alliances with America's allies.
And at any rate, it's always good to make fun of fascists, their ego's can't stand being mocked.

One of my favorite adventure games and really hard to get stable with emulation so I'm actually pretty excited about this.

Backlash After Hakeem Jeffries Holds Private Meeting With Jared Kushner Ahead of Midterms
These idiot moderate Democrats can't seem to stop snatching defeat from the jaws of victory time and time and time again. These abject failures at leadership can never seem to read the god damn room.
And the member of the Democratic party keep electing these morons in and appointing them to leadership.

Why Democrats Must Embrace a “Mom Populist” Education Agenda
Ryan Crosswell, a former prosecutor for the Justice Department, suggested that his opponent, retired firefighter Bob Brooks, was a “flawed candidate” because he hadn’t gone to college. Brooks pounced. “Sorry I wasn’t lucky enough to go to college,”
The appeal of this argument isn’t hard to understand when you consider that more than 60 percent of American adults don’t have a four-year college degree.
This interaction just pisses me off though. Democrats and Progressives I don't think should be shying away from making secondary education affordable, something that every other nation has pretty much learned, is still the best way for people to make a living and making informed decisions that aren't rooted in knee jerk reactions. Sorry but that's where the world is heading and has been heading for a long while. I think that focusing on primary education and attempting to fix that Republican mess is good, they still need to talk about secondary education affordability and expand that out to include trade schools and advanced manufacturing training too.
My two cents.

Physical Video Game Software Dollar Sales Plunged to an All-Time July Low of Just $85 Million in the US — the Worst Total Since Tracking Began in 1995

Notice that since 2009 the trend of physical media sales. This isn't a new thing here and was a trend that well before this whole "scandal" of getting rid of physical media from the three console makers.
It was the gamers that moved away from physical media well before the industry made these decisions. It was the gamers that decided convenience is more important than having a physical copy of a game. I honestly view this as the industry simply catching up to the dynamics of the gamer market here and this was something that the gamer market brough largely by themselves. At this point, I think it would be more beneficial to the gamer to focus on making sure we have the same rights over digital goods as we do with physical media, including the ability to sell our keys withing the ecosystem.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm still an advocate for having physical media but I'm not going to be some kind of hypocritical outrage machine when I myself have so much more digital games vs physical games and basically treat physical media as a treat just like vinyl.

I've got no real qualms about private schools as long as they don't get a single lick of tax money and you're still taxed the same amount as everyone else for public school, no tax credits, no help, no nothing. You can private all you want as long as you pay for public school like everyone else. and as for homeschool, I'm with you there.

Well I guess I'm boycotting that business too except to use the restroom because let's face it, they're cleaner than most any other business.

Conservative Americans are legitimately braindead
I mean it's exactly to Republican plan as those areas controlled by the party of Idiot America, tore apart education and the ability to have any critical thinking skills. You now have generations of people who will believe anything they hear without thinking for a single beat.
