The worst part? The artist is super talented. Sucks to see it wasted like this.

I wanted to go to this when I was a teen because it was so counter culture and free spirited. Now you couldn't pay me to go. It's gross what techbros and 1%ers have turned it into.

What's an industry that would cause riots if it disappeared overnight?

Can't riot against something being taken away if you never had it in the first place and have convinced yourself that you don't need it 🫠

Max wants to push alerts on viewers when there is breaking news on CNN.
Reply in thread
The issue is that I can't tell CNN how severe of a breaking news story I want it to be to interrupt what I'm watching. To me, a story worthy of interrupting my show would be like the death of the president or nuclear armageddon or something. But to CNN, breaking news is like so and so celebrity said "Trump bad".

But more than that, I believed that I could see... five guys.
This is one of the hardest TNG episodes to watch. Picard was brilliant here. Fuck Gul Madred.

What are some of your favorite smaller Sci-Fi Horror/psychological thriller stories/films?
The Void (2016 film.) Very well done indie horror that punches well above its class when it comes to practical effects.

Respect to anyone still managing a library of mp3s
It's super easy for me to maintain a library of offline music because I just listen to the same synthwave tunes and 90s dad rock over and over. Saves me $120+ a year. If I want a new song or album, I use a YT downloader extension.

How do you have this set up? Is the blocker software on your PC or is it a raspberry pi?

Looks like you can't even download the Battle.net client for Linux now
I play WoW and Hearthstone daily using Lutris. The only "issue" I experience is that they have to update daily whenever I run battlenet. Otherwise it's smooth sailing.

How many hours a day do you actually work?
I work in freight management at a brokerage. I determine my hours and my clients. That being said, I am also a SAHD and have a toddler and a dog, so between meals, nap times, walks, etc, I probably put in a good 4-5 hours of work, but I'm on call all day in case of emergencies.
