Meta Exec Admits Zuckerberg Has Crushed Workers’ Spirits

Good hackathons don't mean more work. They should carve out time for people to participate. However if the systems those employees are maintaining need constant work then you can't carve out time for a hackathon because the systems will go down otherwise. It sounds like Facebook is doing the latter. A one off event will also not improve morale, just like a pizza party won't on its own.

I'm not saying one strategy was better but it certainly seems like one strategy was better

I think Enterprise immediately being like "TIME TRAVEL COLD WAR" was one of the biggest narrative problems with Enterprise. It didn't let Enterprise stand on it's own, but was constantly shadowed by future events. IMO they should have spent more time writing ahead of the show to figure out what the overarching storylines should be rather than just figuring it out as they went.

About electric vehicle. If you add the maintenance cost for battery, how does it fair compare to gasoline vehicle? On cost we have to pay.

I've had an EV as my only vehicle for about 5 years. The biggest cost of maintenance was replacing my tires. Then replacing one of the new tires after I ran over something and put a big hole in one of them.

The regular maintenance on it has been effectively zero. I don't have any fluids to change (other than windshield wiper fluid) or other regular maintenance tasks other than tire related things. My parents have had an EV for something like 8 or 9 years and their experience has been similar.

Judge dismisses charges against 2 people accused of ramming vehicle of federal agents conducting Chicago immigration sweeps

During a Nov. 5 court hearing, CBP Agent Charles Exum, identified as the agent who shot Martinez, was questioned by Parente about text messages he sent to friends and family after the incident in which he appeared to boast about his shooting skills.

"I fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book, boys,” one of those messages said.

"prompt engineering"

I once asked ChatGPT to generate some random numerical passwords as I was curious about its capabilities to generate random data. It told me that it couldn't. I asked why it couldn't (I knew why it was resisting but I wanted to see its response) and it promptly gave me a bunch of random numerical passwords.
