Ich will ja niemanden verletzen"

I swear it won't hurt you if you use it for like a second

I set up a new laptop with win 11 recently and i had litterally all of the issues you described. If I wasn't at work I would have screamed at the laptop out of frustration ... well I did scream but I tried to keep it professional.

I had issues with a printer on Linux but aside from that, Linux has always served me better and with less issues than windows in the last 5 years.

unix design principals

Eh I think its fine. Its just

clean hair --condition

or

clean body --moisturize

And its not like literally any cleaning product on the market isn't just a wrapper around libclean anyway

Edit: libclean is deprecated, now its all either libsoap or its newer fork libpid

The Odyssey

Its exactly the other way round. Odysseus was a common name, Odyssey didn't exist as a word.

So the travels of John are the Johnenning and everybody just accepts that as a new word afterwards.

No, why would it? It will run code in the context of the current user which is absolutely enough to start a new process that will run in the background, download more code from a attacker server and allow remote access. The attacker will only have as much permissions as the user executing the code but that is enough to steal their files, run a keyloggers, steal their sessions for other websites etc.

They can try to escalate to the admin user, but when targeting private victims, all the data that is worth stealing is available to the user and does not require admin privs.

Does the southern hemisphere get colder farther from the pole? Why?

Europe is a lot warmer than it should be because of the gulf stream that brings warm water from the equator. If you look at the same latitute in north america/Asia the climate will be a lot cooler there.

South america on the other hand is cooler than it should be simply by latitude because of the humbold current and the Antarctic ocean.

So you are comparing the warmest point with the coldest one at the same latitude (mirrored on the southern hemisphere)

World map with countries real sizes

Looks better but is basically unusable for navigation in any sense. Mercator at least preserves direction but not size. Robinson preserves nothing. It combines all the drawbacks without adding any advantages except "looks nice". Which is actually the philosophy of the projection:

I visualized the best-looking shapes and sizes. I worked with the variables until it got to the point where, if I changed one of them, it didn't get any better. Then I figured out the mathematical formula to produce that effect.

I can respect that. 10/10 no notes.
