netbird (and pangolin I believe) offer alternatives to getting a static IP address with their wireguard implementation.

so do many others, but I believe those two are the only fully open source solutions

Would you play a game that constantly tests your morals and fucks with your belief of what is good and what is evil? | The Milgram Experiment Official Trailer

hey friend, the link you posted works (and I've wish listed) but for some reason typing in the name of the game did not return any results for me until after I clicked your link and wishlisted there. it could be a problem on my end somehow but it might also be worth looking into.

good luck with the release!

GrapheneOS user accused of child sexual abuse for protesting police training facility

something I feel is important to note: they added CSAM to the list of things they were searching for in order to gain access to his phone.

when the phone was clean (due to the wipe), they did not follow up on that charge

if they truly believed this person to be in possession of CSAM, a warrant should've been issued by now to follow up on that very serious accusation. instead, they go after the destruction of evidence.

because they have nothing on this man, and it was a fabricated excuse to gain access to his phone.

Flipper One — we need your help

this is shockingly ambitious from the flipper team. wow.

I don't have experience with ARM development, but IMO that seems like the field that would benefit the most from this project. its also where I see the most pushback occurring.

very happy they're opening this up. they built a good community with the first flipper, I'm sure there are tons of qualified people willing to contribute to this one.

Windows 11 is failing as an operating system

Reply in thread

you know what's funny, is that my noise cancelling headphones started to have serious problems when I 'upgraded' to windows 11. it would pick up the noise cancelling mics and decide they were the primary, not my standalone dedicated microphone.

in the process, it would also downgrade the sound quality for some fucking reason. no matter how many ways I disabled them, it would either re-enable them or I'd find a new way to try.

with Linux? just works.

Linus Torvalds shares his thoughts on Anti-AI coding rules

I want to expand on your first thought and just say that in my experience the internet as a whole is not a great place for nuanced takes, and I've noticed that becoming mirrored in reality over the last decade. Perhaps its been happening for longer.

There's so much going on, and so many actors trying to influence the masses. I don't blame anyone for having different conclusions to my own, there's an almost untrackable amount of sources to draw information (and disinformation) from. I just hope we can get to a point together where we can (again?) discuss nuance without ceding to emotion.
