Nearly half of 18-24-year-olds say they're 'not fully straight', survey finds

Well I'll bring the average to 66% but I'm not going to say which direction to mess up the math.

Netflix Hints at Price Increases, Plans to Retire Basic Service Amid Ad-Tier Growth
Netflix already costs over $185 a year. For that price I can rent 6 5k UHD movies a month at redbox and get much higher quality viewing. I can't find 6 good things to watch any given month on Netflix. I might turn my membership back on for the final season of Cobra Kai or Stranger Things, but there's just not much else that's compelling me to spend that money.

We all get it, the type of porn you watch is still legal even though it has teen in the name.
This is regarding a legal matter where the man's sentence will likely be decided by the fact that the court sees him as an adult. In most cases and as the other user pointed out 18 year olds are referred to as men in a legal context. This disturbingly seems to be the standard practice when describing black males of 18.
Generally speaking, describing alleged criminals as teens implies a lack of legal agency and thus biases the reader toward compassion. The point is that sometimes language can induce bias and consistency is needed. If that consistency falls towards the technicality of having the word teen in their name so be it, but that is not the case with our current media landscape.

TIL that the US is #10 in foreign aid per capita.
Keep in mind this is per capita. Overall the U.S. provides the most foreign aid by a wide margin. Over 10 billion dollars more compared to Germany and over 30 billion more compared to Norway.

Why Trump isn’t bothering to hide his corruption
I think a lot of comments are missing the obvious. The right spent so much time and energy convincing everybody that everybody else was corrupt that their base and the ingrained whataboutism mindset makes it okay. And on the left we're afraid to follow their lead and do what they did, openly accuse and do the performative endless investigations that the right engaged in for so long. Instead, the left stands by and allows it to happen because they know they don't have the votes to do anything substantial. Even with the mountains of evidence of corruption, the left knows the right will fall in line and never impeach or hold anyone accountable.

I killed some kittens when I was around 6. I was just playing and it was an accident, but it haunted me for years. To this day I can't stand hurting animals. I was legitimately saddened the other morning when I stepped on a snail on my front porch.
But I also know that my actions as a child don't make me a bad person now. Yes I try to make up for it. Not because I haven't forgiven myself, but because I know the pain of hurting something.

You are the fourth Wise Man that nobody talks about. What did you attempt to bring the baby Jesus that they cut you out of all the stories?
I arrived well after the other wise men, sweating through my robes and wishing I’d taken a shorter route. I knelt beside the manger and laid out the lamb’s-wool scarf I’d meant to bring. It was soft, pure, perfect. Except the shearing accident had splattered it with dried blood. Mary stared. Joseph’s eyebrows climbed halfway to heaven.
“It’s prophetic symbolism,” I muttered. “You know… blood of the lamb?”
The silence was so heavy it felt like a fourth gift.
Panicking, I pulled a small winter squash from my pack and set it beside the scarf. “And this. For… later.”
The baby gurgled. I decided to take that as forgiveness.

We got a used vehicle, missing the horn. Horns are $3 at the pull it part place, any vehicle. What's the loudest passenger vehicle horns I should look for?
Don't do a train horn. As someone with ptsd and a heart condition, those things are an absolute menace.

DuckDuckGo installs are up 30% as users reject being ‘force-fed’ Google’s AI Search
I use DuckDuckGo as my primary search engine and have for a while. But I have noticed lately that every time I search for something, it almost always only returns product pages. I don't know if this is effective SEO or a way of DDG monetizing their search. But unfortunately I've been looking for alternatives just because it's so frustrating when searching for information to get nothing back but a bunch of sites trying to sell you their product.

How do Americans win their country back?
Legally, there are a couple challenges to be made to his eligibility that will likely be brought by some states. The main one that comes to mind is If there is a case for insurrection then the 14th amendment applies.
Another potential is the 25th amendment. This would require J.D. Vance to get half of the cabinet on board to remove Trump from power. I'm wondering if this is something that is already in the works considering J.D. Vance's true feelings for Trump that were revealed in the past. It's probably a long shot, but who knows.

Help me understand why rolling shutter effect happens
Most camera sensors can only be read one line at a time. This means that the second line isn't captured until the first line is completed. This goes for all of the remaining lines on the sensor of which there are thousands. For example a 24 megapixel camera might have around 4000 lines of pixels to capture.
The image processor captures the state of the top line and moves on to the next. By the time it's captured the 2nd line, if the subject has moved, that line is no longer aligned with what was captured in the first line. Continue this 3998 more times and you have a frame of a video where the bottom of the frame is further ahead than the top of the frame.
To slow this down to a human understandable scale, while watching a video close one eye, then open it and close the other. By the time you've opened the second eye and closed the first things have moved. Just don't do it while driving.

What's the best concert or live performance you've ever attended, and what made it unforgettable?"
Las Vegas, early June in the early 2000s they used to hold "JuneFest". $10 to get in for the day, all day outdoor event with everyone from REO Speedwagon, Joan Jett and Jethro Tull to Kansas, Jefferson Starship and Bad Company and more. It was a who's who and who's still alive of the classic rock genre in 2003. But it was one hell of an event. I think it got killed due to lax id checks at the vendors and some violence and heat related injuries.
