This community is great. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
If it doesn't, dont blame yourself, Kif. We were doomed from the start.

Apparently Cyberpunk 2077 is good now?

TL;DR: This is not a DLC. This is Cyberpunk 2.0.

Hi, im a redditor. Probably won't be for long though.
Im a c# and typescript developer, computer enthusiast, avid book and comic reader, and a fantasy and scifi fan. Im very introverted and agoraphobic, unskilled at social stuff, badly overweight and less-than-optimally-active, and just started on anti-depressants. Other than that im an utterly boring person.

I too loved Disenchantment. But hate Netflix's handling of it.

"Trust' and 'distrust' buttons -rather than 'like' and 'dislike' buttons- could reduce spread of misinformation on social media, experimental study suggests
Same with upvotes and downvotes, I wonder? Some uses it as a good post/bury post, but most uses it as an agree/disagree button, I believe. Maybe one could have different but clearly labeled buttons per sub or per content-type.

Which Futurama line(s) do you find yourself quoting for no raisin?
With my last breath I curse Zoidberg! Or variants therein. In other words I'm blaming a lot of my ills on that crustacean.

I don't think I can. I don't think its available in Norway. Tried back when they released Animaniacs. Oh well, I found other ship-routes.

Going for broke: How Twitter under Elon Musk makes plain the limits of luck
"Our policy decisions are not determined by the board or shareholders ...
Thats what I thought before. Also what I thought about the US President. Theres supposed to be policies and paper and some kind of sane middlemen between the crazy top people and the company or country. That in the end the boards or parties would at least steer it in the relatively profitable direction despite a crazy guy at the helm.
Naive of me.

What game is improved the most by mods?
Cities Skylines is 8 year old and released their final DLC just recently. I'm positive their very impressive mod community can keep that game alive for 8+ years more, if Cities Skylines 2 should fail to measure up.

How do you obtain your music?
When I find a song, I like to keep it. Streaming cant do that. You can create playlists of course, but they may at any time silently remove or replace that song. You dont know suffering until you've heard a bad cover of Hotel California.
Now I only buy mp3s. Mostly from 7digital.com or Bandcamp. Amazon dont sell music to Norwegians somewhy. The last album I bought I finally had to download iTunes because thats the only place except for Amazon they released. The app wasnt as intrusive and DRM enforcing anymore as it used to be a long time ago. So I might use iTunes a bit more now. (Yeah, I tend to hold a grudge against software companies for a LONG time. You hear that, reddit!)
Got all my mp3s (23 GB) stored on Onedrive, and use CloudPlayer on android to stream it wherever.

And the outdated php tutorials persists. And the old Stackoverflow answers persists.
It was at least last time I had to update an old app past php 7 because Azure websites was dropping support.

Has Jedi Survivor been patched for PC?
GTX 3070/Win11 gamer here. Plays smooth for me as long as I dont turn on raytracing. Except on the galaxy map it still turns to a stuttering mess somewhy. I heard its not recommended to play using KB/M though. I played with an xbox controller.
Edit: Also maybe worth mentioning that I have AMD FSR enabled and set to "Balanced". Without it, its unplayable.

Cities: Skylines II - Pre-Order Trailer
Holy crap, I want! October cant get here fast enough. Can my computer even run this? Seems like they have a lot of the first's DLC content baked into the base game now. Also a lot of features that we had to use mods for in the first. Hope they also keep the asset building and modding stuff as good as the first one.

It would have to move within a few thousand years anyway. What is a millenia plus slash minus?
Oh right, a fucking lot. Its like only getting half a day moving out of an apartment and finding a new place to live. Its gonna be stressful.

I too started on C64! Though in my case it was as late as '92 when a seven year young kid got an already old C64 with cassette player, a manual, and no games. Sometimes one gotta make ones own fun, literally.

Seems they taken inspiration from a few of the mods everyone uses. If they haven't taken anything from TMPE, the modding community will surely re-create the mod for CS2.
