Ich habe auch verschiedene Einstellungen für den Feed (aktiv, heiß, neu) ausprobiert und nichts zufriedenstellendes gefunden. Einen so guten Algorithmus wie Reddit hat zu schreiben dürfte auch nicht ganz trivial sein und viel Optimierung und Nachjustierung gebraucht haben, evtl. hat Lemmy dazu auch bisher die nötige Aktivität gefehlt. Ich hoffe, dass das mit der Zeit besser wird.

The second icon in the bottom navigation bar of the main view gets you to the list of your subscribed communities. In the searchbar at the top you can search for other communities over all instances.

As often as moto phones are praised for this feature, the reason has to be that they own a patent on this and other manufacturers are not allowed to just copy it. Can't imagine it's difficult to do with some customization though.

No, there are plenty hobbies that do not cost much or any money at all. People nowadays just tend to not see those as real hobbies because a real hobby has to be about always having the best and newest stuff and being instagrammable. Thats what advertisement does.
