You make $65,000 (USD 🤢) in a dead end career...

How has nobody suggested the obvious yet? Keep your current job while you interview, test the waters and see what's out there. You might find something you enjoy more with a big enough raise to cover the college credits. You don't have to quit to start looking elsewhere. I know you're talking about career, not just job, but I'd argue the same still applies.

Earth-shatering vibrations

I don't think your last sentence is congruent with what you were saying before it.

You're saying a CEO will opt for conglomeration because it either increases the value or decreases the volatility of the company because the CEO has lots of stock in the company. If that's the case, how is it bad for the shareholders, of which the CEO is a major player?

Can you help me understand why the distance between the power source and the load impacts how long it would take to turn on? I remember a video a while back (veritasium maybe?) that explained it like metaphorically pushing/pulling a chain inside the wire, but why would distance to the source impact this?

SpaceX is buying Cursor for $60 billion

Claude code's harness isn't the best, but it's still better than just promoting the model directly. One thing cursor has going for it is the vector embeddings of your codebase to make the harness more token efficient, but I still switched from cursor to managing parallel Claudes in cmux a few months ago and have had little reason to go back.
