Is Lemmy really ran by neo-nazis?
I haven't seen that accusation. There are some communists but no Nazis that I've seen. And I'll take a communist over a Nazi 200% of the time.

Here's how it's going to go down.
Good insights.
For someone whose reddit usage was 99.99% through Sync though, I am anticipating A LOT of basic friction of trying stay on Reddit while only using the mobile site. I refuse to download the app, especially in it's current form.

I was thinking the exact same thing. My interests are home automation with Home assistant and media management with sonarr/radarr and associated programs. Reddit is such an incredible resource for those communities, it's gonna be hard to replace.

People around the world, do you drink tap water without boiling?
Eastern US here. Definitely can drink without boiling. I do filter it, though. I'm more concerned about metals and particulates than pathogens.

Chore tracking
There are probably better options, but the first thing that came to mind was making a blueprint where the bones are "on x day at y time, send a notification to my phone that says do z task" and alter it from there.

App crash when opening "!community@instances" link
Same issue here. Linking to different communities seems to be incredibly wonky, even on a browser
