Valve’s Good Guy Image Makes Up For The Steam Deck’s Problems
This sounds like a weird vendetta with a bunch of random nit picks. The Steam Deck certainly isn't perfect, but the value at the price is pretty much best in market and there are higher end options for those who want to spend more

I have a theory that the more lore a franchise has, the more of an autistic fanbase it has. I made a graphic about it.
This is the dumbest thing I've seen all week

Lemmy, how would you feel about a law that bans radio stations from playing commercials with honking/beeping/siren noises in them?

Overwatch 2 Engagement and Player Investment Is Declining, Activision Blizzard Admits | IGN
It was doomed when they went from 6 to 5 players a side. Tank became so much worse. And that's before all the PvE nonsense

Houston just started enforcing a decade-old ban on feeding the homeless. Volunteers are fighting back.

Houston is one of the most progressive cities when it comes to homelessness. Can't comment on this specifically but the goal is to get people into actual homes instead of maintaining the dependency on panhandling. It's actually worked and other cities should follow its lead: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/14/headway/houston-homeless-people.html

I spilt coffee all over my keyboard this morning and it’s all sticky, since it didn’t break can I just pour water on it to help the stickiness?
You need to unplug it, take the keys off, and wipe everything down with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol. Do NOT dump more water on it. That could short things more and drive coffee grounds and water deeper into the inside of the keyboard than they already are. Keep it unplugged to dry for a day or so.
