You are right. The title is so misleading and I can't believe someone with the title journalist on their resume wrote it.

“I Have Nothing to Hide”- The Dumbest Lie We Keep Repeating
I think I will put it this way: I have nothing that I want you to see - and be a victim to your twisted imagination.
In 17th century China, Qing emperors sometimes walked the markets dressed as commoners. One day, the emperor stood at a bookstall, reading quietly. A breeze turned the pages beside him.
A nearby poet saw this and joked:
"The wind can’t read, why turn the pages?"
He was later executed. History did not even record his name.
In Chinese, "wind" shares a character with "Qing", the ruling dynasty.

[US] How are so many people able to protest? (Logistically)
Besides going out and holding a sign, there are many ways to help and display solidarity. Boycott, spread the words, volunteer online, do what you feel you can do. And the next time, see if you can do more.

Who this?
It looks like wild lettuce. Wild lettuce is good for pain relief and does not contain opium. Try to take a leaf off to identify it, reference https://feralforaging.com/how-to-identify-wild-lettuce/

Before, large companies with tons of lawyers need to prove they are not discriminate you.
After, individuals with no lawyers living pay check to pay check just have to accept lower pay.
