I think the idea of sending them a "get well soon" card for Stevie with some cash tucked in is a perfectly reasonable and subtle enough idea. Asking somebody to work for you to earn cash for their kids birthday because of unexpected expenses seems a bit on the nose to me but I'm not really familiar with the relationship I suppose.

I came here ready to post about Disco Elysium and was thrilled to see it was the first post that came up. Mostly the Dora storyline just hit me like a freight train but just the whole thing man. Wooph.

Highly recommend checking the local used market - you can pick up a great bargain on a nice old Denon or Thorens direct drive turntable and cartridge in good condition. Otherwise Rega would be my recommendation.

Thanks! I'm not usually one for a traditional tele but this kind of feels like halfway tele halfway LP. Really surprised at how nice the tortoiseshell guard looks on the yellow - not normally big on Fender tort guards.
