And you know what's the worst part. It's the owner refusing to pay him proper wages that forces this tipping culture in the first place. It's absolutely atrocious and we shouldn't even be responsible for making sure they get a living wage. That should always be up to the owner

To what extent do you think education has played a role in allowing kids to critically analyse these types of people. Because in my history classes, we learned about ways people influenced others in nefarious ways and I'm wondering if kids see the same common pattern and know when to avoid.
Just a thought 🤷

What the AMPTP is refusing to grant the WGA vs. their revenues
This is a great post, but I'd argue that evaluating the company's net profit is better as it's the actual profits the company makes at the end
Edit: Nope, revenue is more important. See this post

Missed the point on the first one. The focus was on how Tesla wasn't leaking your privacy unnecessarily, not autopilot. Also autopilot doesn't need to be perfect - if the miles per crashes is lower than a human then it is more safer whether you like it or not.

Why are people hyped about RSS regaining relevance?
For me it has to do with this
RSS meets both these, dead simple. It's also low in data usage, but it's for those reasons that I recently started using RSS after leaving it years ago.
P.S. I believe some blame goes toward "fragmentation", i.e. we still need to check a couple of websites for something new. RSS solves that by bringing all that into one place

Incredible. We went from why people use dog leads with grenades as a genuine question to attacking people.
