In my head I see them clipping the RSS off. One of the "reasons" for the price hike was to keep AI bots from scraping the site and I assume RSS is one of those ways?

I am a long time Twitter user. Singed up in 2007. Mastodon felt like a superior platform and I've been quietly waiting for Lemmy to take off.

I'm a big gnome fan. It's been my DE for years back with v2. System76 have done a lot of hard work and I welcome more competition in the desktop space but I'm sticking with gnome.

I kinda have the opposite response. I've been a mostly open source guy for the last 20 years so when I see what kind of half baked proprietary tools people buy I'm always shocked how much money mediocre software costs.

I saw that happen once. Literately only once. I seen THOUSANDS of cars blow through light and stop signs. In fact just a few weeks ago a cop car ran past the stop sign and almost hit me. And, no, his light we're not on, he just wasn't paying attention.

I was going to cancel my Max and Peacock account but my niece was still using it. I pay for Nebula, YouTube, and Spotify but I use them enough to feel that it's worth it.

What part of the experience sucks? I think it's great.
