Ive never heard that term before. I'm guessing it's some sort of shortening of "femoid" (a word I believe to have made up right now, but can imagine incels using regularly)

If you want to host your own matrix server, I can't recommend this project enough https://github.com/spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy

Only modification I made was to replace the water with vodka.

Robusta - a delightful alternative to traditional arabica.
Reply in thread
This is sadly always my experience with robusta. Ive tried to like it. I have had "specialty" robusta on a few occasions from roasters who had a reputation for doing nice things with it.
It's just not my bag. If/when arabica succumbs to climate change, I will probably stop drinking coffee

Homemade jumbo crumpet with baked strawberries topped with mascarpone
Reply in thread
Honestly, I'm right there with you, but these were strawberries that would have been uneaten before I went away for a week. Baking them meant I could keep them alive in the fridge until I returned.

Instant coffee v drip: our blind taste test may unravel your assumptions
They dont talk much about their drip coffee.
Theres a few paragraphs on their instant coffee, how they were chosen and prepared.
For the drip, they just vaguely mention that they had some coffee laying around. No mention of whether this was whole bean, ground fresh, roast level, brewer, papers or recipe.

Girlfriend likes a boozy tiramisu.
Ended up being 90g of vodka for 4 portions. It was a bit stronger than I would like, but she was happy, so I am too 🙂

Does anyone else make their own water?

This is a great solution if you can get distilled water from a shop. That's sadly not available where I live, so filtering is the only alternative
