The title is pretty misleading. Not only is it taken out context, warping the emphasis, this is actually said by another person, to which Trump replied "yes, yes".
Don't take me wrong, it's still a pretty terrible thing to say/agree with, but not at all what the title implies.

Honestly, I've felt like that since the first time I went to the US as an adult back in 2007. When flying between Canada and Europe or East Asia, I've also actively avoided having connection flights through the states, even when it would save me hundreds of dollars.
I've never met anyone as condescending and threatening as a US border agent.
