No reason to feel dirty for reading it as long as you don't agree with it.

But it's not worth reading unless you need to for some reason (like studying history and/or politics). It's badly written racist drivel, you're not gonna get any insights out of it and you won't learn anything you didn't already know.

Ja aber denk doch Mal daran wie extrem übelst massiv unfair das für die armen, ausgebeuteten und geknechteten Autofahrer ist.

Our conservatives aren't literal Nazis. And yeah, the actual literal Nazis at 20% is horrifying but it's not like they're going to be part of the government. It's going to be a coalition between the conservatives from the Union and the allegedly social democratic Social Democratic Party. If there's majority for that they'll add the vaguely progressive Greens to the mix.

Meanwhile the US has turned itself into a Nazi broligarchy.

We can still be smug. Sorry America.

Edit: and yes, this post is heavy on copium.

Well, I certainly do look at him in wonder.

It's not delusional if he doesn't believe that. It's just a fucking lie because he's a Nazi trying to defend other Nazis.

This dude has been full mask off since Covid. And he's been an asshole before too, I think the façade really started to crack when he was told that his mini submarine was useless (of course one could argue that the fact that the first thing Musk's mind went to when he wanted to disparage someone was "paedo" is rather telling).

Neurotypical here - that's the correct response.

At least until the next French election. Not exactly a long-term guarantee. Germany needs its own deterrent.

It's better to be told that you can't enter by the embassy than to be detained at the border.

So give me a Fediverse Twitter alternative that's actually a drop-in replacement for Twitter the way Bluesky is and that is (and this is by far the most important factor) as easy to sign up for as Bluesky is. People aren't leaving Twitter because it's "corporate" or "enshittified", they're leaving because it's the proverbial Nazi bar and they want to jump through as few hoops as possible to get where they want to go. Which is Twitter, minus the Nazi in charge and his followers.

Unless you expect people to work until they drop dead it's a crisis regardless of the economic system, especially coupled with the increases in life expectancy. You have fewer and fewer people of working age who have to provide for and take care of more and more old people for longer and longer. Even if you eliminate profit motives, you're placing an outsized burden on younger generations.

Except NATO could and would do the same, and even without the US the European members of the alliance have far greater manpower reserves than Russia. And better tech. And a larger manufacturing base. And more money. And better access to global markets. And navies to protect that access.

Attacking Ukraine was stupid. Attacking NATO would be nothing short of suicidal. Russia would lose a conventional war, and nobody wins a nuclear war.

What an odd way to spell Eierkuchen.

Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

Mike Pence’s advocacy group, Advancing American Freedom (AAF), opposes Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services, citing concerns about his inconsistent abortion stance.

Killing children after birth by spreading vaccine misinformation and conspiracy theories is fine, though.

Because even his idiotic voters wouldn't intentionally drive up their power bill. Well, some might, but most wouldn't. But if it's harder for consumers to make that informed choice his friends in industry can flood the American market with inefficient crap and his voters will probably blame Biden or immigrants or Jewish space lasers for their increased power bill.

Valve really needs to get around to moderating their platform in general. Actively enabling Russian propaganda is really just the tip of the iceberg here.

Not giving the Babylon Bee clicks is a good thing.

Not that the 20 year occupation of Afghanistan wasn't an absolute clusterfuck, but the Taliban were harbouring Al-Qaida leadership. To say otherwise is just denying historical facts.

Football.
