Except no. First issue it's messured wrong. You messure a full package and then an empty one in the factory. Losses during shipping and so on is the problem of the customer. Especially meat looses a lot of water. People don't weigh the water in the cloth.

I program like I learned it? I use my German QWERTZ layout. A lot of keys are different, yes, but I grew up with this layout and I'm used to it. Imagine giving me a US QWERTY layout and I would misstype every time. I even hate it when Windows swtiches my keyboard layout, even though I removed the shortcuts to it and I misstype constantly. Heck even Visual Studio switched my shortcuts and it sucked.

After some time I realized that (Game) Devs suck, because they forget that other layouts exist. Its not a big deal, but at some point I realized that the Chats on T, Y, U makes much more sense on a QWERTY Layout. Also Markdown with ` kinda sucks. For a codeblock, I need to hold shift and press the key that is left of backspace 3 times and then one space, because when I press it once, nothing happens but pressing it a second time, 2 appear. Pressing space let it appear directly. Or I type 4 and remove one.

But this it what I'm used to. And if I ever would work outside Germany, I will bring my own QWERTZ keyboard and require them to install the German Keyboard. I don't need a German UI. I have all programming related software in English, because its easier to google stuff.

For people who aren't familiar, let me explain: These public bookcases are a weatherproof shelf, old phone booth or something in the streets. The concept is you can take any book and leave any book. There are no written rules and you can keep a book if you like or just read it and put it back. In recent years people started to scan the barcodes and checked what books they can sell. There is a debate going on if people should mark these books or not, so they can't be sold.

Kein Witz, so ähnlich sah es bei einem Kollegen von mir aus. Als guter Freund habe ich ihm Aufräumen geholfen. Depressionen und so. Der komplette Boden war mit Zeug voll und man musste sich erst mit dem Fuß eine freie Fläche zum hintreten frei machen. Ich hab auf dem Boden gepennt, neben Müll. Beim Aufräumen habe ich eine Alditüte entdeckt, mit TK Essen und auf dem Kassenbon stand, dass es da seit nem halben Jahr lag. Ja der war Einkaufen und hat dann sein Essen nicht mehr gefunden. Jemanden zum Profi zerren ist die falsche Option. Hilfe muss man wollen und wenn man sie nicht will, würde es eher passieren, dass man den Kontakt zu der Person verliert.

IP Bans are usually pointless. Not all ISPs give a connection a static IP or even solely an IP (DSlite). The reason is they don't want private people hosting stuff and generating more traffic and they can charge you more. My ISP (Vodafone Cable in Germany) didn't even gave me an IPv4 to use (it's called DSlite/Dual stack lite), meaning I was behind a NAT on their end and many shared that IP. I did ask them nicely if I could get a real IPv4 for certain stuff and they gave it to me, but only when I book the upload boost for 5€ + a month. It's not static but it only changes when my router is disconnected for a long time (I don't know the exact time but at least several hours up to an day).

So usually an IP ban makes only sense for a limited time or specific ranges from companies (for example VPNs or hosting services that don't care who books their service).

Es gibt die Technologie Ladesäulen in Bordsteinen und Laternen zu packen, nur in Deutschland sehe ich es nicht. Es ist einfach unattraktiv pro Woche mehr Zeit fürs Laden auf zu wenden.

Natürlich sind fossile Treibstoffe endlich, aber die Regierung hat ja gar kein echtes Interesse für alternativen zu sorgen, weil sie eben ordentlich verdienen. Sieht man ja an unseren Nachbarländern, die den Sprit für deutlich günstiger anbieten. Würde echtes Interesse bestehen, würde man die Ladeinfrastruktur Sinnvoll ausbauen, so dass die meisten bequem und Stressfrei über Nacht laden können.

Hatte mal eine vernünftige Sachbearbeiterin. Die sagte mir, sie wird mir keine Stellenangebote schicken, da sie eh nicht versteht was ich genau suche und was die Stellenbeschreibungen überhaupt sagen (Programmierer). Die hat sich sogar ins Zeug gelegt. Die hat mich in ein Bewerbungstraining gesteckt, aber die haben halt nichts gemacht. Anschreiben nicht überprüft, Lebenslauf nicht überprüft und auch der Kontakt mit der IHK wurde mir nicht gegeben. Der Kontakt mit der IHK kam dann, der hat aber 1 zu 1 nur die Stellenangebote zugeschickt, die man in der Jobbörse unter "Informatiker" findet. Ich bin ausgebildeter FIA und ich bekomme dann FISI oder gar IT Elektroniker Angebote. Die hat mir auch intern Kontakt zu einem Vermittler gegeben, der direkt mit den Firmen in Kontakt steht, aber nach der Vorstellung, hat der sich nicht mehr gemeldet. Die Sachbearbeiterin war entsprechend sauer und hat gesagt, mehr kann die auch nicht tun und es tut ihr leid.

Auch geil, ich hatte eine Urlaubsvertretung für 3 Wochen oder so und das erste was der macht, war mir 10 Stellenangebote zu schicken. 5 davon waren sofort was für den Müll, 3 habe ich mich schon beworben und 2 waren Personalvermittler, die ich nicht mehr nehme. Der hat mich auch direkt zu einem Termin eingeladen. Das Problem war da aber, da ich in einer besonderen Abteilung war (die Sachbearbeiter haben weniger "Kunden" und können sich intensiver kümmern), war diese in einer anderen Stadt. Die Sachbearbeiterin war halt an 2 Standorten und die hat mich eingeladen, wenn die bei mir in der Stadt war. Ich hab einen kürzeren Weg und die sparen an Fahrgeld.

Nach 2 Jahren habe ich einen Job gefunden. Warum es so lange gedauert hat, trotz Fachkräftemangel: ich hatte keine Berufserfahrung, was die abgeschreckt hat. Ich war auch irgendwann in einer anderen Maßnahme für Bewerbungshilfe, von meinem Sozialhilfeträger. Die haben auch gut geholfen und tatsächlich sich meine Unterlagen angeguckt und Feedback gegeben und Kontakte hergestellt. Unterm Strich war es aber eine reguläre Bewerbung auf ein Stellenangebot, das Erfolg gebracht hatte.

Die 100€ den ich für den gebrauchten Samsung S/W Laserdrucker bezahlt habe, hat sich sehr schnell bezahlt gemacht. Ja ein Scanner dabei wäre nice. Ja Farbe wäre manchmal auch sehr nett, aber das Ding druckt ohne zu meckern. Einzig beim Papiereinzug meckert der. Hab jetzt letztens mal die Rollen gesäubert und mit feinem Sandpapier bearbeitet. Mal gucken ob das hilft. Das Teil akzeptiert 3rd Party Toner ohne Probleme und selbst "Toner leer" ist nur eine Empfehlung. Ich kann da immer noch einige Seiten raus quetschen, bis der Toner verblasst.

Tintenpisser sind einfach nur grauenhaft. Die pissen die Hälfte in den Schwamm und lassen noch einiges an Tinte in der Patrone. Ich habe vor Jahren mit einem neuen Set Exakt 20 A4 Seiten Drucken können (Bilder in Farbe, auf normalem Papier). Das ist einfach nur hochgradig verarsche.

Genetics and health issues aren't a big topic now, because of disabilities caused by genes. If your jurisdiction allows for example people with down syndrome to reproduce, you can't argue about genetic defects by incest, as they are less likely/server. Here politicians did switch their argumentation towards protecting the family, which makes sense but only when they grew up as family. The problem is when siblings didn't know each other, when they grew up, later fell in love and only then find out they are blood relatives, they legally can't reproduce. You can't argue with protecting the family, because they never where family. They don't see them as brother and sister.

In Germany there is a group who is fighting to legalize it. About consenting, there is a different law in Germany, which protects that. In Germany for the age of consent, we have 3 categories (14, 16 and 18). The one that matters in this context is everything under 18. If one partner is under 18, you can't fuck them, if you have a specific relation like teacher, family member, guardian. Also this only applies to consent. Rape is still rape.

But to be fair, a lot changed recently and being against incest "just recently" (still over 10 years) weakened their arguments. They don't reevaluate everything that gets affected by court decisions or law changes, if now something else got weakened in their arguments. Consenting incest not between guardians, aren't that many. It needs a group to collect facts and arguments and then need to present them but that doesn't even guarantee politicians to act

Letzteres weiß ich nicht, ob die App Fixierung dies auch triggern würde, nach einiger Zeit. Aber generell, ich gebe mein Handy nicht aus der Hand. Es gibt da schnelle Methoden um das Gerät zu kompromittieren. Vor nem Jahr hatte ich ein Unfall und die Polizei ist mit Perso, Führerschein und Fahrzeugschein zu ihrem Auto und haben in ruhe alles gemacht. Wenn die einfach einen QR-Code oder einen anderen 2D Code scannen können und ich mein Handy nicht aus der Hand geben müsste, dann wäre dies besser.

I use Control Panel for YouTube. Has a lot of features. Don't know how trustworthy it is. It has only 11k Users and 49 ratings on Firefox but I use it for some time now. YouTube rolled that out for me for weeks and when I got it, I didn't found a script to add to uBlock or so, when I got this bs.

Or the obscure ways for 2FA/MFA. Passkeys are mostly cloud based. Yeah fuck no! The weakest Passkey is weaker than my usual random generated password, if the site don't do any shady business and require a weak password. Hardware keys are luckily not pushed for usage. I don't like them either. You require at least 2, for backup reasons. They also cost quite some money and they have zero auth. Just connect to usb and tap it. Also retrieving the backup and get a replacement for a defective one, takes some time.

Good old TOTP as 2FA is perfect, paired with a strong, random password. With my TOTP, I have an encrypted backup in my cloud, on my NAS, older backups in secure places and backup codes in several places. The TOTP App I use is open source and I have a mirror of the source code.

This should be enough security, if sites don't screw up all the time. You can bypass 2FA all the time. Even the credit card company screwed up big time. Usually you get 2 separate letters, one with your pin and one with your card. Both came on the same day. Also I actually didn't needed the pin in the first place. I was able to add the card to the app and see the pin there, without actually verifying anything, except the credit card number.

Maybe when passkeys are supported in my password manager, I will try it but so far it isn't and switching is not an option, as it doesn't support the features I need. There is an open issue for an alternative password manager, with that feature request and it has some people wanting it, but its still not added. But passkeys doesn't fix the issue for me using stronger keys, it fixes the site owners to allow stronger keys but they are still not required to use it. Some devs are just weird. I've read one PR for an FOSS project I use, where someone wanted to implement a universal oath or such stuff, that would support all types of external authentifications. Nope, the dev refused the PR and they wanted to stay at the 2 proprietary implementations, for 2 services, even though this universal implementation would work with these 2 too. I can't tell exactly what it was. I was experimenting with an auth service for my self hosted stuff, to not deal with several accounts and rights systems. This service was the first one which I wanted to switch and they didn't wanted to support it, leaving me with the standard login.

Forget stats, I want to see commented replays. Every time I missed a hint of person. Every person that got romantic/sexual feelings for me and the best time to make a move. Every time I lost something or got robbed. Shit like that. I'm really interested in that, even though it could be hell, when you realize how much you missed. To really rub salt into the wound, they could show you "what if" scenarios of missed opportunities. For example what would have happened if I did a bit better at a job interview? For example I never had any plans of getting a doctor and there would have been several different changes, to be remotely realistic.
