Most automotive technicians in the US are paid 100% commission. The idea of being sold something you didn't know you needed is how we make our money. Also shops will employ more techs than they need because it doesn't cost them if we're sitting around, waiting for the next job.

The manufacturer that i work for has esims built into every vehicle they build that cannot be removed without bricking the vehicle. I feel like this is pretty much industry standard at this point. They used to have a removable sim, but there was an esim along side that so you could not completely disconnect.

Edit: added words

All you need to know about Dave Ramsey: i worked on his Jaguar XK.

Kids step dad found an unfired mortar while working on base. Kid brought it to school and dropped it in the band room. Thankfully no one died, but there was still a shrapnel ring in the room when i graduated a few years later.

Nah, that's just Colin Mochrie

Get used to it. As a Jags fan, I can tell you that false starts and holding are some of his skills.

That looks like it. It was pretty tall, maybe 20".

Her lips look like a prolapsed butt hole

That's exactly why I'm here. It's definitely worth the drive.

Thanks
