Sad to see Reddit go

Reply in thread

Exactly. Reddit had the most comprehensive and fleshed out (third party) apps of any other similar platform that I know of. But with the exodus, I'm really hoping we can all breathe some life into some of the apps that we do have access to that weren't getting as much attention

POLL - Will you stay on lemmy?

If you're referring to Jerboa I completely agree. The idea is cool, but I find myself either disinterested in what's new, or bored of seeing the same posts over and over. I don't know if this is a problem with the app itself (which does need work) the lack of community compared to reddit, or just Lemmy's framework of a social media, which is very confusing. Not to mention you can only view communities or whatever if someone in the same instance as you is already following it. I feel like a lot of Lemmy's framework cuts it short of what it could be, one, and I also feel like the lack of a very large and dedicated community is making the experience not as enjoyable.

How did you discover TST?

Honestly, and I don't mean this to sound rude at all, but I went through a kind of edgy phase in highschool that lead to TST. Which, as it turns out, is very different than the theatrics it puts on in name and symbol lol.

To be clear, I don't consider it to be an "edgy" group, I understand the point of referencing Satan, and all that, just that my discovery of it was the result of other dabblings that one might consider edgy.

Hey, well, I hope you find your place on Lemmy, not that a NSFW server has been made, surely more communities are going to pop up, and of course, you can always start fresh and make your own on here! Whatever you feel like doing, best of luck in your endeavors!
