New Study: At Least 15% of All Reddit Content is Corporate Trolls Trying to Manipulate Public Opinion

Reply in thread

You also have to see the irony in an article that forces new user signup to read it in its entirety. The internet is just gross now. Almost everything is corporate garbage or some site or individual trying to establish a “user base” or “followers” etc. I’m mostly just tired of it all. We’ve had radio, tv and now the internet. I’m personally just hoping to be around for the next thing to come along so I can enjoy it before the same cycle hits it and fucking ruins it.

What is your ratio? 😅

23.79 TB uploaded 2.32 TB Downloaded 10.273 ratio

From my primary seedbox. This is probably my best ratio and upload total but I’m more proud of maintaining a decent ratio on higher downloads with more competitive trackers :)

Victim reports his father missing. Police instead interrogated him for 17 hours, said they killed his dog, and withheld his meds from the victim. Victim tried to commit suicide in the room.

I work in police professional liability claims / litigation. The general public has no fucking idea how much money is paid for shit on the daily. Only the few that hit the media cycle. It’s truly absurd and it’s in every state and every city town Burrough etc. It should make people’s blood boil way more than it does

It’s just a remote server you rent that has either a web interface for a torrent client and/or the ability to shell into your instance and use a terminal based solution. You tell the remote server to handle the torrent. It downloads it to the server and also seeds for you. Then if you need the file on your home machine, you can grab it via ftp sftp https wget whatever way you want. To your ISP it’s not torrent traffic and even better, you can vpn to tunnel or use baked in means to make this transaction encrypted. In short, you can seed forever without impacting your own internet and you can keep your actions relatively secure and private as compared to opening a home machine up and letting loose.

Just get a seedbox. No reason to use your own bandwidth or have torrent traffic on your own ISP. I just use bytehost and it’s also hosting my plex server. I’ve also used seedhost.eu for a long time without issue but that’s seedbox only (no extra apps like plex or sonar etc)

Remote Workers Are Increasingly Less Productive, Anxious, Depressed and Lonely

Lol what a load of corporate propaganda. Almost everyone in my building are in office 3 days a week after being fully remote for years and everyone hates coming in. Nobody is depressed or stressed and if all of us were missing deliverables we’d be out of work fast. I’m willing to bet it’s a similar story across multiple industries. People have a ton of money in real estate and don’t want to be caught holding the bag. The rest is just outdated boomer micro management bullshit and other useless thoughts out of a group of people trying hard to justify their position’s and existence

This dude has really drank the kool aid. Imagine being tricked into thinking that you need an imaginary black belt to do root cause analysis and participate in a project

Brother, are you fucking dense? Im in total agreement with your original sentiment and comment. I saw you were getting harped on for not having an absolute anti gun stance and jokingly implied that this place is just like Reddit by asking and asked how you were liking this new fresh take here on totally not Reddit and you started in on me about your join date. I couldn’t give two fucks about your Reddit or lemmy join date. You may have convinced me that some people are in fact too stupid to own a firearm.
