Someone, I'm thinking with multiple accounts, is downvoting EVERY comment I make. Mildly aggravating, mostly sad for someone like that. Can I find out who and just block them?

I think on the original offending post, OP made some somewhat inflammatory comments about ADHD and Autism further down. I imagine the downvoter felt personally hurt by these comments, hence the temporary spree, driven mostly by emotion. I don’t agree with the vote manipulation but not knowing their full story I would caution against people coming across this and retaliating against this person. It seems like it was just a short response and hopefully they have had a chance to cool off now.

Stuck in interviews all week. Trying to find somebody to help with my project. Is a full time job right now. In other news, we are buying a boat and planning on living on it. All the inspections have been organised this week so we are one step closer and I’m really excited!

Thanks! Yes a sailboat. We’ve been getting ready for this for quite a while. Took a bunch of courses and bought a starter boat that we would go away for a few months at a time in to see if it was really something we could do and to make sure the dog could handle it. We did that for a few years and learnt what we wanted from a full time boat. I hope the inspection goes well. Can’t wait to finally start the big adventure! It will probably be quite a while until we feel experienced enough to cross oceans but I’m just excited to spend more time on the water!

We got underway and did a 3 night passage to head up to the Annapolis boat show. Weather made us tuck in before cape Hatteras though so we have been exploring North Carolina. I guess Blackbeard’s ship wrecked at the inlet here so they are still pulling up artefacts from it and you can see them at the local museum. Pretty cool. Back to sea tomorrow!

Survey on the boat is supposed to be this week but there is a weather system developing off the coast and it’s bringing high winds and rough seas. Not very conducive to a haul out and sea trial so we may have to delay it to the following week, which will push back everything else with the purchase and getting on board. Ah well, they say you shouldn’t sail to a schedule, I guess you shouldn’t try buying a sailboat to a schedule either!

Trying to buy this boat has been a mission! The weather system that pushed back our haul out pushed it back by over a month. We finally got it done though and got the survey report last week. We have accepted the boat and probably close this week, all going well. Can’t wait to start moving on board!

We are buying the boat along the east coast of America so we are going to hopefully start by exploring the north of the east coast/Canada and then head down to the Caribbean for Christmas. After that, who knows. Fun fact: she was a marker boat for the Americas cup in NZ so she can certainly get us back home if we muster up the confidence!

Anyone else's routine work too poorly to want to keep up, but too well to quit?

I tried the whole only rinsing in the morning thing and my aesthetician convinced me to start washing my face both am and pm again. She was right. This helped with clogging. I think the one a day isn’t for everyone.

The biggest thing for me personally has been water quality. Have you tried shower head filter and maybe a tap filter? I don’t know what water quality is like where you live but could be something to look into.

Thanks! It’s going great. It’s definitely a big change but we are loving it. Currently in Charleston and we anchored right beside a huge warship (the Yorktown) when we first got here. It’s getting too cold here so we need to head to warmer climates.
