Russia hasn't actually succeeded at anything in over 20 years. So probably not them on this one.

Counter-Strike Co-Creator Says Gabe Newell Got So Obsessed With Mongolian Throat Singing at Valve HQ That Staff Started Closing Their Office Doors to Escape the Noise
Other billionaires setting up cults and trying to bring a new age to techno fascism.
Gabe's colleagues: " sometimes he sings in his office and it's a little annoying and distracting."
Other billionaires response: buy media companies and government lobby, manipulate the narratives. Make a mockery of the legal system while hiding behind corporate entity.
Gabe: "yeah I asked a trusted colleague for honest feedback and feel a little bad about that.".
It's really not hard to not piss everyone in the world off or high effort.

Homelab is so 2025. We're all building EMF pulsing devices in 2026 in preparation of the redacted.

OpenAI agents tried to hack Wikipedia tools and flooded it with traffic
So, at my last job we had a very large public curated database of media with ratings, synopsis, descriptions, artwork, etc. Well over a million physical items of record.
Anthropic and Openai were pumelling our servers at such a rate that I thought we were being ddos'd. This was before CloudFlare or anyone had much to offer for dealing with agents and we were geographically blocking IP's from all over. We'd shut down one block of servers and they'd have another one up a day or two later. One set was even in fucking Brazil.
We were rate limiting of course as well but it seemed almost intentional the way new resources were deployed every day and they kept changing their headers and ways I might be able to identify them. Their scraping agents were completely in efficient posing as real browsers, huuuge resources being deployed. Not just the normal port knocking you get from bots. Some of them were even not identifying themselves but we're from IP ranges that I had already identified as coming from either company. Anthropic was the bigger offender but it was infuriating to have to stop and fight that off every few days for a while until I could work out better rate limiting solutions and then about 6 months later CloudFlare finally woke up and started offering some solutions.
There were periods where I had to just geoblock everything outside my country because it was outside operating hours etc.
I would have happily exported that part of the public part of the database for these idiots and just sent them a terabyte if they would have just asked but if I ever meet the person that was waxxing header randomness from anthropic, I'm going to punch that motherfucker without hesitation or consideration. I didn't care if people scraped. We had good powerful gear and could handle a lot. The complete lack of internet etiquette backed by people with massive compute is not the same frustration as botnets. They fucking know better and did it anyway.

This man taught us that heaters are indeed about as efficient as you can get in turning energy into heat through a little thing called resistance.

They would at least bring up how much it hurts them to have to do this and then act like it never happened a few moments later.

"George, what the fuck are you talking about"
Moloch also keeps showing up again and again in the lore of these people as a way for them to personally atone for their egregious activities. They believe this entity requires constant and significant sacrifice for good fortune. George Bush Jr was in attendance at Bohemian grove many times where the powerful people go to rub elbows and relax in the summer on a lake. They run a mock ceremony there called the Comfort of Care as part of the festivities where they do a mock sacrifice of a young women (presumably a virgin) to Moloch as a symbol of the entire years worth of their immoral actions to atone to Moloch. The idea being that they can then leave the mini vacation with less weight of how they have used their power in the past.
I think coverage of the grove as dramatization throughout the years regarding occult activity actually did us all a big disservice toward what the real issue has always been. That is, leadership without personal responsibility, and should be a major red flag when thinking about leaders at any capacity.
I wish I was making this stuff up. So it's not totally off the wall here that George Bush Jr would be looking for other spiritual entities and collect them so that he could also use for himself for justifications. This is how they sleep at night and we should never let them forget their harm no matter how many cute paintings they make.
Whether they really believe this stuff or not, there is always a theme of using spirituality to justify horrible actions among these people and I think that's something important to keep in mind in regard to understanding the complete lack of mental health and critical thinking among the powerful despite their positions and willingness to say or do anything to justify their actions.
I wish we could do away with the idea of spirituality once and for all but I'd settle for the institutions of religion to at least call out these people more often along the way when powerful people are just as happy to use that religion as a means of justification for their actions. The whole thing is rotten to the core.
When a person with addiction murders someone and says "god made me do it.". We treat them as crazy. When a politician does it, we are supposed to feel sorry for them?
Anyway, for anyone that believes they have to choose "something" focus on science. At least it has to prove itself rather than demand sacrifice to some vague mythical goat man. I believe the Pastafarions haven't harmed anyone (yet) either.

What habit do you possess that seems very normal to you, but would seem odd to anyone else?
I can't leave the house without a shower even if it's just a quick 5 minute trip to the gas station. The only exception I'm willing to make for this is if someone else is in some sort of harms way from nature or whatever.
Wake up late to the thing? I just won't be doing the thing I guess or everyone will have to wait. That said, I'm good about not being in that situation and plan myself well for the sake of others as I recognize it's a weird thing about me, not them.
