Youtube Disliked the Dislikes
The decision to kill the dislike button is very much strictly anti consumer and marks the beginning of the enshitification of youtube, especially the enshitification of the comment section. It use to be that if someone had the most dogshit opinion, they would be disliked into oblivion and nobody would see it. Now even the worst opinions imaginable will be pushed to the top if it can find 100 like minded mouth breathers, effectively normalizing it in the eyes of the average viewer. Same goes for whole videos too. I desperately wish we would come up with a real federated alternative to it, because right now its actively contributing to the decline of humanity.

Then don't. Make cities walkable and invest in public transport.

Weird and F'd Up
Capitalism HATES free things and sharing of value because it directly hurts their own bottom lines. If a village is sharing a hammer then they wont buy a new one until that one breaks, but if you alienate everyone from their neighbors and nobody trusts anybody and nobody shares anything....well now you can sell hammers to everyone.
Point is, keep an eye out for contributions to open source projects being labeled as terrorism or something.

COLLAPSE of Personal Computing | Investigation Into the Destruction of Ownership - Gamers Nexus
The US government is actively funding this with your taxes FYI This March OpenAI has gotten another 122 Billion USD in funding and had received over 40 billion the other year, while reporting a net income of -9 billion dollars. The end goal is not a product/service that will better the lives of consumers, this government is vehemently anti consumer, they want to price you out of being able to OWN any compute power while being forced to rent it from the tech oligarchs, who will have a monopoly on compute power.
This is techno feudalism and they are making you pay for it.

Yea, about that. I have a channel that no matter how many times i say "don't recommend me this channel" i would keep getting it, to comedic effect. Like i would press the button and then immediately get the same channel 4 times in a row. I have now pressed that button maybe 30 times and it is still showing up. Fuck YouTube.

AI would be a dream if we lived under Marxism, we would be cheering for it at every corner because WE WOULD WANT IT TO TAKE ALL OUR JOBS, sadly under capitalism AI just means the rich get incredibly richer while the rest of us get to fucking die.

This was always the plan, students have historically been the first domino to fall in many major revolutions. This effectively neuters them from the ability to rise up against the system. Can't protest when you are living paycheck to paycheck with life crippling debt. Unless of course, you destroy the whole system that holds your debt.

Yea i love when most police raids for suspicion of drug dealing end up being something along the lines of "we broke into this person house and he had one half smoked joint and 10,000 dollars in bills" which of course means that the money is now proof of crime and belongs to the cops now

None of this is info is actually reaching the general population at large, because the people implementing this are the same ones that control all the media and are pumping out mountains of made up identity politics conflict to keep people distracted or are flooding places like reddit with bots to do the same thing. If every american really understood what was going on right now the country would grind to a stop with a quickness.

I also like folks mentality that "once they see the real price of AI everything will be back to normal". As if the very same companies didn't get baited into becoming dependent on American cloud service providers like AWS to find themselves later paying out the fucking ass for them once they are dependent on them. Guess what ? THEY ARE STILL PAYING FOR IT, after more than a decade of being swindled. They will do the same with AI.
