Yes PCs are more expensive than consoles, but they also hold more value, are more versatile and have lower costs for the Games themselves.

So viele Projekte weltweit haben gezeigt, dass es den meisten Leuten eigentlich egal ist, welches Verkehrsmittel sie nutzen. Die meisten wollen einfach nur komfortabel und effizient ihre Wege zurück legen. Klar gibt es ein paar Leute, die Autos so unglaublich geil finden, aber in den meisten Orte, an denen bessere Alternativen als das Auto angeboten werden, werden diese auch genutzt. Deutschland ist halt nicht so ein Ort. Öffis sind scheisse, Fahrradinfrastruktur ist scheisse, Wohnungsmarkt ist scheisse um alles zu Fuß machen zu können. Da bleibt nur eine Option, und das ist auch kein Zufall bei der Autoindustrie im Land.

Ich laufe regelmäßig barfuß und ein mal habe ich mir vor einem Spaziergang im Wald die Zehennägel recht kurz abgeschnitten. Beim Spaziergang hab ich mir dann den großen Zeh an einem Stein gestoßen und wegen dem fehlendem Nagel hat das direkt ein gutes Stück Haut von der Zehenkuppe gerissen, was ganz schön geblutet hat.

If you're using AI because it's smart, you're dump. However AI holds imo way more value in knowledge and speed for simple tasks.

It doesn't matter how smart you are, AI has more knowledge than you. Maybe not in a specific field but its a valuable tool in getting knowledge for a lot of different topics.

Idk about the prices in canada but 3000 CAD shouldn't give you a "decent current gen gaming pc". This is already high end territory where you're already burning money unnecessarly just to have the latest an greatest. For 2500 CAD you can get a prebuild 9070 XT + 7800X3D system (here). This system destroys the PS5 performance wise. I can get 240-300 FPS in the Finals while the PS5 can get a max of 120 FPS in performance mode with hits to the visual fidelity.

And yes a PS5 is 579 CAD as far as I can see, so a lot cheaper.

However as I stated a PC can run way more different games even without taking emulation into account. Furthermore on PS5 you have to pay 110 CAD/year to play online and PC games generally are cheaper than console games. So there is a significant amount of money you'll save on the software.

Additionally you kinda are forced to buy a new console when the new generation arrives while I can use my PC for the newest games as long as I want to or the hardware just can't handle it anymore.

And lastly a PC can also be used for non gaming stuff. You can even get use of the performance for 3D modeling, Video editing, running LLMs or whatever.

So as I stated before both have their use cases, a PC is definetly more expensive up front buy it also just offers more value. At the end it doesn't matter and everyone can play games on the hardware they want to.

Man just for sim racing VR is worth it for me. And my headset cost me less than my regular gaming monitor.

Das eine ist halt leider realistisch umsetzbarer als das andere :/

Eigentlich schade, da ich die Kinoerfahrungen an sich mag. Aber heutzutage fällt es mir echt schwer ins kino zu gehen.

• Teurer als zuhause schauen
• Es gibt nur noch wenige Kinosäle die bessere Bildqualität als mein OLED TV bieten
• Es kommen nur wenig gute Filme raus
• Wenn man OV will schränkt sich die Auswahl sehr stark ein
• Zuhause darf ich kostenlos so viel Leitungswasser trinken wie ich will
• 3D finde ich unnötig und hätte lieber ein helleres und kontrastreicheres Bild

Wir wollten in einer Gruppe den neuen Avatar im Kino schauen aber wir haben einfach kein Kino gefunden dass sehr gute Bildqualität, 2D und OV anbietet... Tja
