So how long until the Fediverse is monetized?
I could see someone trying to sell ads on their instance. But ya I can't imagine many people would join unless they had some other features that are better than other instances.

How did Lemmy.world become more popular than Lemmy.ml?
Reply in thread
Ya it has a great domain name and didn't require an email when I signed up at least. I'm thinking about spinning up my own instance on AWS though since the lag and "bad gateway" stuff is annoying.

I'm optimistic it will get fixed. I think people really underestimate how difficult it is to set up infrastructure. Even the programmers think it's just set up a load balancer and 1000 instances of your container. Specially with bad actors it's significantly more difficult.

Musk is undeniably just trying to run twitter into the ground at this point.
The limits are so low as well. Imagine paying for Twitter blue and getting rate limited still.

Ok this is actually great. Is there a way to make it so when you down arrow again it will clear the cmd line (or take it back to the prefix)?
Like "py" -> up -> down -> result is "py"
Currently it would show my last python command (or whatever matches).

Official Trailer for Netflix's "Quarterback"
I'll probably watch it. Netflix usually does a good job with this type of show.

I disagree. The valuations might be lower but tech is still where it's at and it's the only field getting exponentially better.
